In today’s news, Canada provides assistance to children and farmers in Sri Lanka, study from Israel shows Pfizer vaccine to be effective at a national level, European Union acts to speed up green hydrogen development to cool the planet, India to produce its own mapping and communication software, Colombia offers temporary legal status to Venezuelan migrants, new virtual vegan Mexican restaurant launched in United States, and cat miraculously rescued at waste processing plant in Russia.

Canada contributes almost US$800,000 to support Sri Lankan children and farmers.

The United Nations World Food Programme and the Government of Sri Lanka are using donations from Global Affairs Canada to implement the Home Grown School Feeding program. The funds will be used to procure locally grown fresh produce from 1,700 smallholder farmers as ingredients for free nutritious meals provided to 170,000 primary school children in low-income areas of Sri Lanka. The project especially aims to encourage girls to attend school and increase the productivity of the region’s smallholder farmers, especially women, thus also supporting climate shock resilience. Canada is a Shining World Leadership Award for Animal Protection recipient, and a laureate of five Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, plus Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, Animal Protection, and Caring. Our gratitude, government of Canada and the World Food Programme. May all the Sri Lankan children live safe, abundant and healthy lives, in the Buddha’s merciful protection.

Pfizer vaccine lowers COVID symptoms by 94%.

In Israel, over one-third of the country’s population have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech. The country’s speedy roll-out has given rise to a peer-reviewed study by Israeli Clalit Research Institute and several US universities that provides a first look at the vaccine’s performance in real-world conditions. The results showed that the vaccine was 94% effective in reducing symptomatic COVID-19 cases across all age groups above 16 years and thus offers the hopeful expectation that the pandemic’s effects will be mitigated. Dramatically lowered levels were found for hospitalizations, severe disease occurrences, and cases of documented infection. Israel is a Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism and Caring recipient, as well as a Shining World Caring Leadership Award and Shining World Leadership Award for Peace laureate. Bravo, Israel, for your swift measures, and many thanks to the scientists for this study. We pray that our world will become vegan for the lasting elimination of all such pandemics, in Heaven’s grace.

Up next on Noteworthy News, Europe wants to speed up the production of green hydrogen for a cleaner planet. We’ll go take our loving dog companion for a brisk walk for both of us to get some exercise and fresh air. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more valuable news.

Hey, amazing viewers, it’s Tammy the vegan Tropheus. Since going vegan, many of us have a newfound clarity of mind! Be vegan, and your brain will thank you too. Here is a tip for safety in the home. You can apply stick-on corner guards or moldable putty to sharp corners of furniture, including items like coffee tables, nightstands and counters. This will help to prevent injuries, especially if you have small children or active animal companions. Thank you for your attention, and lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now, the weather around the globe.

Europe emphasizes clean hydrogen technology for a greener world.

The European Union has established the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance formed by governments and companies with aims to increase green hydrogen production by 13 and 130 times current levels by 2024 and 2030, respectively. This type of hydrogen can be made using solar and wind energy, instead of fossil fuels, to split water into hydrogen and oxygen gases. These can then be safely stored for further use at low cost thanks to new techniques developed by firms like Germany-based Hydrogenious. The European Union is a recipient of four Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace, and a Shining World Leadership Award for Earth Protection; as well as a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism and Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care and True Caring. Thank you, European Union and partners, for developing green hydrogen technology. May governments also quickly implement Vegan Law to protect our cherished planet.

India to develop its own digital map software.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) recently announced a joint project with technology company MapmyIndia to develop a mapping application for their country that operates similarly to Google’s mapping system. The homegrown software will protect users’ data and privacy while providing detailed information on localities and services. The announcement comes after India’s National Information Center also released a secure messaging service alternative to WhatsApp for government employees named Sandes, as well as introducing a locally produced app similar to Twitter called Koo. Way to go, India, on your technology sector that is fast innovating to help people navigate and stay connected. May your forward-thinking nation continue to prosper in Divine wisdom.

Colombia grants temporary protection status to Venezuelan migrants.

About one million undocumented Venezuelan migrants in Colombia will benefit from this generous offer. It was jointly announced by His Excellency, President Iván Duque Márquez, a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Protection laureate, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, The Honorable Filippo Grandi, who called it “a humanitarian gesture of an unprecedented scale in the region – and the entire world.” There are an estimated 1.7 million Venezuelans taking refuge in Colombia due to economic and political hardships back home, with more than half lacking proper immigration documents. The 10-year rights offered will allow the migrants to work legally, gain access to the health care system, be eligible for COVID-19 vaccinations, and apply for residence visas in the country. Colombia is a Shining World Leadership Award for Protection recipient, and a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and a Shining World Leadership Award for Protection. We are grateful, Colombia, for helping fellow humans in need rebuild their lives. May God bless both the Colombian and Venezuelan people with peace and happiness. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Gratefully present the Shining World Leadership Award for Good Governance to President Iván Duque Márquez and the Colombian government with high salute and praises. May Heaven continue to protect Your Excellency and the loving people of Colombia.”

Coming up, new virtual vegan Mexican restaurant launched in the United States. We’ll take a moment to thank the apartment rental agents who bring in new tenants and help existing residents to renew their lease terms. We’ll be right back with more joy-inspiring news here on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Benefiting News for a Happier World.

United States vegan chain offers Mexican favorites by delivery.

Veggie Grill, an industry leader of 100% plant-based restaurants in the US, has recently launched Más Veggies Taqueria, a virtual Mexican restaurant delivering lunch and dinner seven days a week. Más Veggies Taqueria is operational in California, New York, Massachusetts, and Washington with more locations to follow. Partnering with United States- headquartered company Beyond Meat, the virtual restaurant offers Mexican comfort food like tacos, burritos, bowls, and nachos, all 100% vegan. The new concept addresses the growing demand for plant-based options and the preference for safe and convenient contactless delivery amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Veggie Grill’s co-founder T.K. Pillan said, “Más Veggies Taqueria helps accelerate the plant-based movement while leveraging existing Veggie Grill kitchens nationwide.” Kudos, Veggie Grill! May such continued efforts help to usher in a vegan world in the grace of the Providence.

Cat miraculously saved at Russian waste processing facility.

Mikhail Tukash, an employee of Ulyanovsk city’s waste plant in Russia, pulled a thick bag off of the conveyor belt “by chance,” just moments before the innocent feline inside it would have sadly lost his life in the sorting machinery. Before that, the gentle cat had also survived the garbage truck’s own press. When Ulyanovsk’s Ministry of Environment heard about the incident, they adopted the miracle cat, even allowing him to choose his own name. Kite also received the honorary title of Deputy Environment Minister. The government also thanked Mr. Tukash and the waste facility’s director for their responsible approach and vigilance in saving animals. Previously, the facility’s team rescued two abandoned turtles and a hedgehog, who now reside at the plant. Our heartfelt appreciation, Mikhail Tukash and Ulyanovsk city’s waste plant and government. We pray that all our animal friends will be cherished and cared for as the precious beings they are.

Here is a joke to relax your bones. It’s called “Classmate’s Birthday.”

Little Johnny was attending the birthday party of a classmate when the mother asked:

“Little Johnny, does your mother allow you to have two pieces of cake when you are at home?”

“No, ma’am.”

“Well, do you think she’d like for you to have two pieces here?”

“She wouldn’t care. It’s not her cake.”

And now we have a heartline from Oh Hwa Seon in Korea:

My number one Supreme Master TV show is Between Master and Disciples. I got initiated not long ago and without Supreme Master TV, I think I would’ve been frustrated. Master's lectures, disciples' questions and Her answers help me to find my own solution to deal with life's challenges. All I knew before were the mundane, worldly ways of life, but now I want to listen to Heaven to adopt Heaven's way of life and change my mindset. So, I always watch Between Master and Disciples to learn precious things. Thank You, Master, for accepting me as Your disciple. Oh Hwa Seon from Korea

Fortunate Oh Hwa Seon, Thank you for your meaningful lines and welcome to the Quan Yin family.

Supreme Master Ching Hai has a message for you: “Humble Oh Hwa Seon, bravo for your pure-heartedness and dedication that will, as you have already noticed, lead you to find the Light that guides you on your spiritual journey Homeward. You always have my Love. May all Saints and Sages bless your Heavenly path, and that of the kindly Korean people, with eternal bliss, peace and harmony.”

We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartline
