In today’s news, Sweden provides assistance to Mozambique to improve food security, United States COVID-19 infections likely four times higher than reported, Korean government increases subsidies for electric and hydrogen vehicles, Swiss scientists develop artificial artery to assist the heart, two anonymous donors pay off medical bills for hundreds of families in United States, taste test of 3D-printed vegan meat a success in Israel, and New Zealand city temporarily closes busy road to protect sea lions.

Sweden provides food assistance to conflict-affected in Mozambique.

The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency has contributed US$3.5 million to the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) to alleviate food insecurity and malnutrition for approximately 95,000 internally displaced people in northern Mozambique. The funds will also be used to support the WFP-operated air transport service that delivers the aid. The help comes as much needed relief to those in Cabo Delgado, where more than half of the children’s population is suffering from malnutrition. Sweden is a Shining World Leadership Award for Protection laureate, and the United Nations is a laureate of the Shining World Leadership Award for Humanitarianism and two Shining World Leadership for Lives-Saving-Hero Awards. Thank you, Sweden and WFP. May all the vulnerable citizens in Mozambique be blessed with a more peaceful and happier future.

COVID-19 infections in the United States may be four times higher than reported.

A study conducted in the US has revealed that as of mid-November 2020, one in seven US residents in the country was infected with the COVID-19 virus. The researchers conducted antibody testing on random groups of people across the nation and determined that almost 47 million people had been affected. It was also noted that the number of people who had lost their lives due to the virus was about 35% higher than what had been reported. It is hoped that the data may help to determine the country’s progress toward achieving herd immunity. The findings were published in the medical journal JAMA Network Open. Our appreciation, researchers, for your thorough study into the actual number of people infected with COVID-19. In the Love of the Divine, may humans soon stop eating animals to ensure the cessation of this and other zoonotic diseases.

Up next, Korean government increases subsidies for electric and hydrogen vehicles. We will pause for a moment to thank the film critics, whose interesting analyses help us to choose which movies to watch and appreciate them more deeply.

Hi, happy friends, it’s Camelot the vegan Camel! Can you honestly think of a better way to live than being vegan? It just feels so awesome! Let’s start today and make our world a better place! Here is a good tip on how to prevent sandwiches from getting soggy when you’re preparing them in advance. First, consider using a heartier bread like a baguette, ciabatta, crusty rolls or tortillas. Toast the bread beforehand to reduce moisture, and spread on condiments like vegan mayo because they will act as a barrier between the bread and the toppings. Also, your toppings, such as vegan ham, tofu, or vegan cheese, should be cool, not warm, when making the sandwich. If possible, though, it is best to pack everything individually, then freshly assemble the sandwiches when it’s meal time. Big love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants! And thank you for tuning in. Now the weather around our beautiful globe.

Korean government encourages citizens to buy eco-friendly cars.

The Republic of Korea will subsidize consumers up to US$17,000 for battery electric cars and more than US$33,600 for hydrogen fuel-cell cars. Certain electric and hydrogen vehicle models from Hyundai and Kia will receive the largest subsidy share from this agenda. The goal is to put 1.13 million electric vehicles and 200,000 hydrogen cars on the road ahead of 2025. The government will also build 31,500 new EV charging stations and 54 hydrogen stations across the nation. Taxis and buses will also receive subsidies to convert to electric or hydrogen power. These actions are part of the country’s plan to reach net-zero emissions by 2050. Korea is a laureate of three Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection and Peace. Great job, Korea! We pray that governments worldwide will just as quickly make vegan laws in order to effectively reach their zero-emission goals as soon as possible.

Researchers develop artificial aorta to assist weakened hearts.

Researchers from the EPFL University, or the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, have developed an artificial aorta, which is the main artery that pumps blood from the heart to the body, to help cardiac patients. When the heart sustains damage, it usually restores its structure using scar tissue. But the heart’s ability to function will be compromised as the scar tissue cannot beat. This puts pressure on the rest of the organ, often leading to the need for a full heart transplant. By helping to pump blood, the new implantable aorta relieves pressure on the heart and could possibly eliminate the need for a transplant. What a grand idea, EPFL scientists, to support the body’s own mechanism this way. In the goodwill of the Providence, may such advanced devices soon be available to those who need them as we wish for a healthier humankind.

Over 400 medical bills paid by mysterious duo.

Two anonymous donors recently gave a total of almost US$95,000 to Pratt Regional Medical Center (PRMC), in Pratt, Kansas, United States to pay off the medical bills of 430 patients in financial need. Nearly US$52,500 was used to pay up to US$300 each for more than 400 families. The remaining US$42,000 was shared by approximately 30 families who had been making monthly medical payments, some since 2002. One of the beneficiaries, who all received the good news in their mail, said that the help goes a long way for parents such as herself, especially during the pandemic. Our heartfelt praise, benevolent donors, for your unconditional and generous gesture. God bless you. May loving-kindness permeate all corners of the globe.

Coming up, taste test of 3D-printed vegan meat a success in Israel. We’re going to look at the lovely bird who has landed near the window and thank her for visiting. Supreme Master Television will return in just a moment with more sharing news. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Delightful News for a Jubilant World.

Israeli vegan meat company successfully performs taste testing in public.

Redefine Meat, a Shining World Protection Award recipient, recently served its various plant-based meat products cooked to order, from a meat-branded food truck in a suburb of Tel-Aviv, Israel. When the customers were told the food was actually plant-based, they gave very positive feedback in regards to taste, texture and mouthfeel. The 3D-printed vegan steak and other food items received a 90% plus acceptance rate. Word of mouth spread quickly, with queues of up to 50 minutes and 600 customers in one day, leading the food truck to sell out in less than five hours. This test was launched in partnership with meat distributor Best Meister, who is starting to bring Redefine Meat products to Israeli restaurants and butchers. Congratulations, Redefine Meat. Wishing you Heaven’s ongoing support. The success of your taste test shows that the world is more than ready for compassionate and planet-friendly proteins!

New Zealand city diverts traffic for sea lions to nest safely.

The Dunedin City Council from South Island, New Zealand, decided to close John Wilson Drive for a month to protect a mother sea lion and her pup. The new family was nesting at the golf course nearby and regularly crossed the busy street to get to the ocean to feed. People who were walking or on bicycle were allowed to enter the area but were advised to keep a 20-meter distance from the wildlife. Local residents supported the temporary road closure, with some wanting it to become permanent to protect the endangered New Zealand sea lions, whose population is only around 12,000. Thank you, Dunedin City Council and residents, for your praiseworthy effort on behalf of two of our sweet co-inhabitants. May all animals on Earth individually be treated with such consideration someday, in Divine love.

Laughter can relax your muscles up to 45 minutes, so take some time to unwind and enjoy our joke of the day called, “Honey Talk.”

Matteo called his girlfriend one night and told her: "I miss you, honey."

Her mother replied: "Honey is sleeping. You are talking with the bee."

And now we have a heartline from Little Candy in China:

Most Beloved Master, I have had the great honor to go to a certain place in China to present the “Shining World Compassion Award” to the recipient. This trip has given me lots of feelings, and here I would like to share my experience with everyone. As soon as we arrived, we immediately felt the gloomy atmosphere accumulated from the heavy killing karma, that is the innumerable dead animals’ souls swirling around and wanting to take the lives of those who have hurt them, and it formed a kind of horrifying energy. The agglomeration of deep resentment could bring unpredictable disasters to any area and people. Then, we understood that the reason Master gave this award to the recipient was not only to encourage his own noble cause and thank him for his loving dedication, but also, through this award, to appease the long-accumulated monstrous anger from the countless tragic deaths under the butcher’s knife of human beings there. With boundless love, Master enlightened all these beings to let go of their hatred and took them to the beautiful Heaven that Master has arranged for them to start a new life. At the same time, Master also has alleviated the local people's share of the karma and eliminated or reduced the severity of the disasters. Master bears all these quietly with Her immense merit and compassion. I cannot imagine the pain and suffering that Master has to endure, but Master did it all silently, only because She loves us all! Words couldn’t express our deep gratitude and love to Master. I know that in order to help sentient beings, Master is always willing to sacrifice Herself and never hesitates. She is the embodiment of the great and selfless Love. We only wish that the vegan and peaceful world will come quickly so that all beings can live in peace and happiness and all of Master’s sacrifices bear the most beautiful fruit at the end! Your loyal disciple, who loves You and protects You forever, Little Candy from China

Sweet Little Candy, Thank you for sharing your profound experiences with us. Our gratefulness to you and the team for bringing Master’s Love to where it is needed most. We pray for all beings to coexist harmoniously in Heaven’s everlasting grace.

Master has a message for you: “Devoted Little Candy, my thanks to you for your love and commitment to doing Master’s work. The animals that suffer horribly will be liberated. I’m just hoping the humans will wake up soon to their own inherent, benevolent nature. Join me during the World Vegan prayer time to pray for our world and ask others to pray as well. Together, we can definitely manifest Heaven on Earth for all. May you and hospitable China be blessed in Buddha’s eternal light.”
