Spring comes and goes; flowers bloom, then fade... That is the endless cycle of a human life. But the spring of spirituality was born from a joyful heart, changing life anew, and bringing the eternal season to the world.

“Flowers are already in bloom, one just realizes Our Earth is now overflowing with peace and poetry Spring has arrived, opening the door to spirituality Life will always continue, renew eternally Let’s give one another a tender smile Love resplendent on the lips of humanity.

When Aulacese, also known as Vietnamese, refugees in interim countries such as Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Thailand, encountered difficult situations, Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) reserved some time to meet with the press in southern California, United States on March 14, 1994. She thanked all for their sincere concern and answered questions from the media about Her activities in refugee camps in years past. Afterward, a vegan banquet organized by the Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association members was attended by artists, writers, media members, and esteemed guests. La Thoại Tân, a legendary Aulacese (Vietnamese) multi-talented and esteemed artist, was the master of ceremonies welcoming Supreme Master Ching Hai during this occasion.

“From the North one has crossed a long river to find on this land a home of affection. Northern love and Southern affinity are a common bond that we build for eternity. Together we lend our caring hands Rejoicing with the two harvesting seasons of corn and potato So life is as fragrant as golden rice grains, O love! Tomorrow’s success brings laughter and delight everywhere Pain and sorrow from separation cease on our homeland We’ll bring our love to the northern land Returning to the flower garden to offer her a sweet briar Songs of loving affection make her cheeks rosy. The pulse of life is peaceful and joyous Together we walk as our shadows merge.”

Meeting each other during a dreamy youth, then becoming separated because of destiny: such is the timeless refrain of worldly love. You came into this life at a time when yellow flowers were blossoming. The seasons change, but you’re always my everlasting love.

“Once upon a time, a royal court official resigned his position. He traveled to the mountains In search of the grotto of yellow flowers, where he lay in deep slumber. Though dislike torrential downpour, Still you came with me to the bridge where water was flowing downstream. This river current moved only in one direction. Clouds at the source imbued your hair at river’s end.

Long ago, when you were still unspoken for In springtime a vibrant peach-blossom gown you wore. In autumn you donned the color of the sky, the bluest. Come winter you changed into a flowery garment. On the way home, we gathered flower buds in the mountain. I could only take you an eggplant field’s distance.

Alas, now that you don’t love me I shall climb atop a grapefruit tree and shed my tears quietly! How you take such small and reluctant steps. By the misty bridge carpeted with young apricot blossoms.

Nightfall as I light a candle to compose love poems. The sound of your footsteps resonates halfway through my letter. A pair of white lovebirds has taken flight. Such heartfelt echo in the new wintry sky!

Wrapped under the warm cover at midnight, I hear the cold flowers in the field consoling each other. A bird lies dead under the blossomed tree. A heartbreaking cry in the dreary river.

Tomorrow if I die under the old cherry’s If you weep for me, please shed your tears into eternity... The crane of old has folded its wings. The hesitant sound like that of the falling rain.

As you dry your hair in the spring, The fragrant moon glows under your elegant feet. You lie there, watching the early autumn. Your luscious lips sweet like peaches, a maiden of twenty.

The dust-laden town and clouds in the sky follow your footsteps. Your hands embroider the budding summer, Your feet blossom the spring flowers. Let it be then, your hair is but fleeting clouds, And teardrops are just dewstains’ traces. Let the town be shrouded in rolling dust, Let it all be, yet the pain is inescapable!

Since the day you washed your silk winter dress there, The indifferent brook still sings, I can hear. A boat drifting on a full moon night. Autumn river echoes softly, the chiming bell of the moon’s whisper. The door of mist opens wide Letting the melody enter; Tilting the gourd, I sing with the peach aroma.

Up in the mountains I hoe the rocks to plant flowers. Floating on a bamboo leaf boat as the silk of spring hovers. Human life is just a night-long dream. The Milky Way is but tears in distant streams. I lie on a pillow of grass, waiting for flowers to bloom. Your dress is like a white swan, soaring in the peaceful void.

Since the day you faced your true nature, Seeing your reflection in a droplet of water, I invited the great emptiness to enter. As essence gathered, the mirror of wisdom appeared. An embellished facade faded, so is the seed of transmigration. On the floating cloud, my coat I will hang And my head on the moon I shall place on the hill full of night orchids.

Once upon a time a royal court official resigned his position. He traveled to the mountains In search of the grotto of yellow flowers, where he lay in deep slumber.”

True love is the infinite love of the Compassionate One, which is expressed through all forms of affection in humans. That love is all-pervasive and inherent within all beings, a love that is perfectly designed for each humble individual in this earthly realm. “I will forever love you Through all the worlds, Through all the lovers, Through all the beauties, That you so adore.”

“I will forever love you Through all the worlds, Through all the lovers, Through all the beauties, That you so adore. Through all the beauties, That you so adore.

I will forever love you Through all the mothers Through all the lovers Through all the beauties, That you so adore. Through all the beauties, That you so adore.

You will forever, forever search for The Love in yonder, The Love in yourself, The Love in My Lore, That you so adore. The Love in My Lore, That you so adore.

The True Love you’ll find Only by My side. When your journey ends, I’ll send you My Sign, I’ll send you My Love, I’ll send you My Light. I’ll send you My Love I’ll send you True Light.”
