This Green Papaya and Green Mango Salad is so refreshing and healthy. Once you try it, your body will thank you for the healthy choices you make!

INGREDIENTS (For all ingredients, please use organic versions if available)

For the Green Papaya and Green Mango Salad, the ingredients are: 1 medium green papaya, 1 green mango, 1 red bell pepper (optional), 2-3 tablespoons of salt

Salad Dressing: Hot water, 2 tablespoons of Maggi, ½ tablespoon of mushroom seasoning, 1 teaspoon of brown sugar, Pinch of salt, Grounded black pepper ¼ orange, to juice (optional: apple juice), ½ teaspoon of chili sauce (optional)

“Before we grate the mango together in there, we should use like two or three tablespoons of salt. You sprinkle it on the papaya, because the papaya is green, so it might be a little bitter. Besides, if you make the salt penetrate into the shredded papaya, then the papaya will be a little bit crispy and nicer for the salad. So after you sprinkle two or three spoons of salt into the papaya, you use your hands to squeeze it, so that the salt will penetrate well into each shred of the papaya. Squeeze it. And some juice will come out of the papaya, naturally. And then after that, we rinse it with the filtered water. Rinse the salt away. And use our hands to squeeze away all the water.”

“In Âu Lạc (Vietnam), sometimes they make just mango alone or just papaya alone. I invented some new mixture. Maybe you’ll like it. It’s very simple to make.”
