Yom Kippur, also known as the Day of Atonement, is considered to be the most sacred holiday in the Jewish faith. Yom Kippur, has three important components: Teshuvah(Repentance), Fasting, and Prayer. Yom Kippur, although a solemn holiday, provides an inexplicable joy for the sincere observer. It is a time for spiritual cleansing and renewal. Those who take this very personal and special journey undergo self-reflection and spiritual growth. At the end of Yom Kippur, many feel a sense of inner peace knowing that they have reconciled with others, and with God.
