World Bank supports South Africa’s coal plant closure.

In an effort to transition to a low-carbon energy system, South Africa has received financing of US$497 million, of which US$439.5 million is a World Bank loan, to aid the country’s transition of the recently-closed coal-fired Komati power station. The government plans to repurpose it into a solar and wind energy plant. Part of the funds will go towards creating quality jobs that sustain the climate-resilient local economies and people’s livelihoods, as well as supporting affected workers. With over 80% of its electricity generated from coal, the power sector creates 41% of the country’s CO2 emissions. The international community pledged US$8.5 billion in grants and loans at COP26 last year to assist the nation’s move away from coal. Thank you, South African government, World Bank, and partners, for your commitment to protecting the global environment. May the kindhearted South African people be blessed with a greener future in the Providence’s infinite wisdom.

New study affirms highly processed food consumption and premature death link.

Researchers at the University of São Paulo in Brazil led an investigation to determine the relationship between eating ultra-processed foods and the risk of early death in Brazilian adults. Using data from a previous study, the team concluded that in 2019, the demise of around 57,000 Brazilians in the 30 to 69 age bracket was due to the consumption of such foods as cakes, mass-produced breads, ice cream, animal-people meat-based hot dogs and chips. It is believed that the primary causes of the early deaths included heart disease, diabetes, cancer, obesity, and chronic kidney disease. In the study, the researchers estimated that by reducing the intake of ultra-processed foods among the Brazilian population to less than 23% of daily calories, around 20,000 premature deaths could be avoided each year. Our appreciation, scientists at the University of São Paulo and all involved, for this important study. In Heaven’s mercy, may all people soon switch to an organic plant-based diet and live longer, more prosperous lives. Vegan: b like an ocean, wash away all sorrow n pain.

Up next, potter from India makes electricity-free fridges from clay. We’ll now take some time to thank the forest conservationists who protect our beautiful woodlands by working to maintain their biological diversity. We’ll return with more rejuvenating news here on Supreme Master Television.

Hallo, virtuous friends, it’s Isaac, a vegan prince from the Inca Jay kingdom! Just the other day, I was celebrating life with my precious forest buddies. And yes, we are all compassionately vegan, and our plant-based feast was so tasty! We have a useful tip for you today. Not sure what to do with your piles of leaves after raking? The solution is mulching and/or composting them to improve the quality of not only your lawn, but also the environment, rather than letting them sit in a landfill. You can use the gathered leaves as a base in your compost bin to transform them into organic material for your garden. There are composting programs in many cities that allow you to take the leaves to a compost location, or the municipality will come to pick them up at the curb. Furthermore, if you only have a thin layer of leaves in your yard, go over them with your lawnmower instead of raking them. This will produce dry, chopped-up material that you can collect to use as mulch and a natural fertilizer. Thank you for watching. Lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants alike. Now the weather from around the world.

Indian potter makes refrigerators that don’t require electricity.

A man in India’s Tamil Nadu state named M Sivasamy, has been crafting electricity-free refrigerators from clay that can keep food fresh for four days. He sells them for around US$20 each. The device contains a large chamber that is filled with water, and on top is a smaller compartment with a cover where fruits and vegetables can be stored. There is also an inlet to pour more water and a tap on the bottom to let it out. Mr. Sivasamy said he is content and satisfied that he can contribute to people’s health while also helping the environment. What a great idea, M Sivasamy, to create an eco-friendly fridge from clay. In God’s Blessings, may your environmentally friendly fridges help to inspire in people a wish to protect the planet by all means possible, as they switch to greener living.

Researchers in China successfully test magnetic levitation train in low vacuum pipeline.

Chinese scientists recently ran a high-speed magnetic levitation (maglev) train in the city of Datong in Shanxi province on a special two-kilometer test line. A speed of 130 kilometers per hour was attained. The train is designed to reach a top speed of 1,000 kilometers an hour, which can be achieved because it floats above the ground and it also travels within a vacuum tube, thus limiting air friction. Next, the team will build a 60-kilometer track, where it will be eventually tested at its maximum speed. Wonderful news, Chinese researchers, on your recent success in the development of a low vacuum pipeline maglev train. In the grace of the Buddha, may your efforts soon lead to a functioning vehicle, which will help people to travel more quickly and efficiently around your beautiful country.

Entrepreneur donates €1.47 million to Slovenian Firefighting Association.

In July 2022, Ivo Boscarol, the Slovenian founder of the aircraft manufacturer Pipistrel, agreed to match contributions pledged by the Slovenian government to pay thousands of local volunteers who risked their lives to battle the country’s largest wildfires to date in the western region of Kras. The government’s €1.47 million donation in September led to volunteer firefighters receiving compensation of €63 per day when working shifts of up to eight hours, and €94.50 for those working longer shifts. In November, Mr. Boscarol fulfilled his promise and wrote in a press release: “The main motive of these donations was to thank [the firefighters] for their effort… and to let them know that all Slovenians appreciate what they are doing for the residents and nature of Kras.” Our accolades, Ivo Boscarol, for your gesture and our gratitude goes to the noble firefighters. May Mother Earth soon regain her balance in a cool and compassionate vegan world, in the guiding light of the Divine. Vegan: cos we don’t support torture n or murder.

Hero dog companions alert sisters to house fire.

While Molly and Chloe Appleton-Reeve, 24-year-old twin sisters in Cornwall, the United Kingdom, were sleeping in their bedroom, they were suddenly awakened by the unusually loud barking of five-year-old bulldog-person, Coco, and 18-month-old Labrador-gal Polly, their animal companions. After immediately getting up and seeing the living room chair on fire, the twins quickly took hold of Coco and Polly and safely exited the house. Fire personnel soon arrived; however, the house could not be saved. The lifesaving dog-persons were checked by a veterinarian and are fine. Molly said, “Make sure you hug your family tighter and most of all, appreciate your dogs because they could save your life.” The family is currently living with the girls’ grandmother, and the community has rallied to support them. Well done, Coco and Polly! We are so glad that you and your beloved friends Molly and Chloe Appleton-Reeve are doing well. In Celestial upliftment, may you and your family soon be in a new love-filled house.

Now, it's time to paint our day with some colors of hilarity as the joke of the day is here. It's called, “Daring Driver”

One day, Hank, a bus driver, was driving his normal route. The day was going as usual. A few people got on, a few got off and things were going well. At the next stop, however, a big hulk of a guy got on. He was 1.8 meters in height, built like a wrestler and his arms were enormous. He glared at the driver and said: “Big John doesn't have to pay!”

Hank is just 1.6 meters tall, thin, and meek. Naturally, he didn't argue with Big John, but he wasn't happy about it. The next day, the same thing happened: Big John got on again, made it clear that he wouldn't pay, and sat down. As well as on the next day, and the one after that... This went on and the driver started losing sleep over the way Big John was taking advantage of him. Finally, he could stand it no longer and signed up for body building, karate, and judo courses at the same time. By the end of the summer, Hank had become quite strong and confident. So, one day, Big John once again got on the bus and said: “Big John doesn't pay!”

The driver stood up, glared back at him and asked authoritatively: “And why not?”

With a surprised look on his face, Big John replied: “Big John has a bus pass.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Evangeline in Greece:

On July 30, 2022, part 2 of the lecture “Vegan and Peace Offer us Paradise, Meat-eating and War Destroy Everything” was aired. Supreme Master Ching Hai asked the Supreme Master team how they knew it was Her, how they recognized it was Her since they didn’t see Her. This inspired me to express how I know Her.

I know You from the things You say. The carefully chosen words, so to the point, still, easy to understand. The unique metaphors that lend themselves to even more clarification, that are always so fitting to the situation. The way You still teach us with Your humor, how You lovingly “scold” us to make each one understand their shortcomings.

I know You from: Your one-of-a-kind example of immense loving care and boundless compassion. How thorough You are on every possible subject, including the vegan diet, the environment, spiritual matters, the worlds beyond, healthy tips, relationships, and also politics, world affairs, extraterrestrials, cosmic beings, covering a vast array of issues on Earth and the Universe. The way You dig into every topic, You explain all aspects of it without ever repeating the same arguments. You may move from the main point to further illustrate but, so graciously, You bring the attention and understanding back to the main subject.

I often admire how You set straight the ideas that we, as humanity, have had all wrong for hundreds of years (at least) and put them on their true moral bases and how clear everything becomes then! And You never stop to amaze me with the fresh, fine, elegant and original way You approach the real teachings of the past, how You make the incomprehensible clear for us to realize in our hearts.

I know You from how forgiving You are, what a magnificent example You set, and the way You make us realize what “love thy enemies” truly means. No wonder then, why I long for Your unique, loving, yet powerful voice every time we expect Fly-in News or when listening to Your lectures.

So, thank You for being there for us all, for working selflessly to save this little blue planet and her animal-people and human inhabitants. Thank You for all Your sacrifices our simple minds could never grasp, for all the endless, forgiving Love You shower us with. Thank you to the hard-working Supreme Master team who have dedicated their lives to doing this noble work. God bless them to keep going strong! With humble gratitude, Evangeline from Greece

Clear-sighted Evangeline, Many thanks for your deep heartfelt thoughts, as we relate to and appreciate your sentiments. Knowing just how blessed we are to be initiated by Master, we pray that the whole world may soon recognize Her Divine Love and Wisdom. May the Mighty Godses always guide you and the eloquent Greek people on your spiritual journey. In Heavenly splendor, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master replies with care: “Insightful Evangeline, it appears you have been listening and meditating well. My loving thanks for your appreciative letter and you are welcome. There is no sacrifice too great to see Earth’s inhabitants living together in loving harmony, in a vegan world. May you and cultured Greece always be blessed, in Universal oneness. You are loved by Heavens and Earth. And I love you. Be assured that I too, recognize you from the mass, here and hereafter.

“Before I became a vegan, I had hyperlipidemia and high blood pressure. And after three months (on the vegan diet), I had medical tests done and the results were completely normal.” ~ Dr. Lim Dong-kyu, MD (vegan)
