In today’s news, United States Agency for International Development provides humanitarian aid to Ethiopia, study warns warmer Arctic winters causing damage in East Asia, Australian start-up creates biodegradable alternative to plastic bags, major advancement in hydrogen production discovered in Japan, high school senior in United States fixes camper to gift to homeless veteran, food-tech company in India rolls out meat alternative range, and US biologists find sparrow-people remember songs for 30 minutes.

United States Agency for International Development (USAID) sends additional relief assistance to drought-affected Ethiopians.

In response to the most severe drought in four decades, USAID has donated US$39 million-plus to provide urgent food aid to 1.6 million Ethiopians and refugees in the south and southeastern parts of the country, where substantial crop losses and water shortages are already prevalent. Together with the United Nations World Food Program (WFP), the funding will be used to supply school meals and emergency nutrition to children and expectant and nursing mothers. This comes in addition to USAID’s ongoing program which provides clean water, food assistance, sanitation, health care, and livelihood support to 3.4 million people in the drought-affected region. The United States is a recipient of five Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, three Shining World Leadership Awards for Good Governance, seven Shining World Leadership Awards for Promoting Healthy Living, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Good Governor, Justice, Protection, and Environmental Protection; and a laureate of 24 Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, three Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Loving Care, a Shining World Leadership Award for Good Governance, a Shining World Peace Leader Award, Shining World Caring Leadership Award, and Shining World Super Loving Care Leadership Award. Our appreciation, USAID and WFP, for your praiseworthy dedication. In Heaven’s beneficence, may the genuine Ethiopian people soon be blessed with plentiful rainfall and abundant harvests.

Research shows warming Arctic winters causing widespread harms in East Asia.

A study by an international team of scientists concludes that through climate teleconnections, or links between weather changes in non-contiguous locations, winter warming over the Arctic’s Barents-Kara Sea has led to more extreme weather in East Asia resulting in ecological and socioeconomic damage. In particular, colder winters have delayed blossoming and reduced crop yields of cereals, fruits, root vegetables and legumes. Further, the study reports reduced absorption of CO2 by the forests in the region. The effects have been noted in Mongolia, China, Korea, and Japan and mirror contemporaneous reports of colder temperatures and heavier snowfall on the east coast of the United States as far south as Florida. Co-author of the study Dr. Gabriela Schaepman-Strub of the University of Zurich, said, “…Arctic warming is not only threatening the polar bear, but will affect us in many other ways.” Our sincere thankfulness, Dr. Gabriela Schaepman-Strub and all scientists involved. To avoid untold negative impacts of global warming, may humankind swiftly transition to the climate-stabilizing vegan lifestyle, in Divine brilliance. Go ahead n make war: as if u r not stupid enough already.

Up next, Australian start-up creates biodegradable alternative to plastic bags. We would like to thank the tire technicians for replacing our worn out tires with new ones, thus helping our cars to drive smoothly and safely on the road. Hey, optimistic friends, how are you doing? I’m Addy, a vegan duchess from the Atlantic Goliath Grouper kingdom. Bathing myself in the love of the Universe; that’s what the kind vegan way brings me. When we radiate kindness, then kindness will come to us, too. I have a lighting tip to improve your work from home experience! Believe it or not, the level of indoor lighting can play a major role in how productive you are and how you feel when you work. Dim lighting can lead to eye strain, which can cause headaches. Furthermore, insufficient lighting can make you feel drowsy and lose focus. Therefore, you should install overhead, ambient, and even task lighting in your office. These are all essential when completing assignments and participating in video conferences. Who would’ve thought the lighting in a room could help you be more efficient and successful while working from home? Thank you for tuning in and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now, the weather around our beautiful globe.

Australian start-up creates sustainable alternative to single-use plastic bags.

Cassava Bags Australia has launched a biodegradable single-use non-plastic bag, that is 100% non-toxic and Polylactic acid and Bisphenol (BPA)-free. Derived from the cassava root and other organic components, the company says the bag dissolves within 3 minutes in hot water, biodegrades into the soil within 6 months, takes only a few days to disintegrate in ocean water, and is safe for marine life to consume. To put this in perspective, normal single-use plastic bags takes 300 years to decompose, break down into microplastics that contaminate the soil and waterways, and are often accidently ingested by our animal-people co-inhabitants. Bruce Delarossi, co-founder and CEO of Cassava Bags Australia states, “Our determination to create a truly biodegradable single-use bag has been driven by our determination to save the planet.” Uplifting news, Cassava Bags Australia, on your heartfelt mission to help save our planet with environmentally friendly products. May God aid all who work to clean and beautify our world.

Japanese researchers make major advancement in green hydrogen technology.

A team of scientists led by Dr. Ryuhei Nakamura from the RIKEN Center for Sustainable Resource Science in Japan recently discovered a new sustainable and practical method for extracting hydrogen from water for fuel and fertilizer production. Currently, electrolyzers used to split water molecules utilize rare metals such as platinum and iridium as catalysts, thus limiting mass production of hydrogen due to the cost and scarcity of these metals. The researchers have created a catalyst from the common metals cobalt and manganese, thus opening the future to efficiently and economically producing green hydrogen from a renewable source. Way to go, Dr. Ryuhei Nakamura and co-researchers, for your technology that will aid the world to move towards a zero carbon future. In the radiance of the Buddha, may your discovery help to create a benevolent future of peace and harmony with nature, as we rejoice in the benefits of enlightened research.

Teen renovates camper to give to person in need.

Mia Bonutti, a senior high school student from Oxbridge Academy, West Palm Beach, Florida, United States, renovated a 9-meter long camper and donated it to the charity “Veteran Car Donations.” It will go to a former serviceman or woman who has lost their home during the pandemic. Mia designed and implemented the one-year-long school project as part of the academy’s independent study program. She acquired an old recreational vehicle, took 4 to 5 months to remove the old interior, and then used her woodworking skills to restore it. She added curtains as well as fixed the electrical system and more to create a beautiful living space. Mia sent this message to the camper’s future owner, “Welcome home. I am so happy that I am able to give you something to live in.” A standing ovation, Mia Bonutti and all involved! May your project inspire many to help others in their time of need, in Celestial grace. Vegan: Jesus would b proud of u.

Coming up, food-tech company in India rolls out meat alternative range. We’ll take a moment to be grateful for the opportunity to pursue spiritual practice and render service to others. More motivating news coming up on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Delightful News for a Happier World.

Indian food-tech company releases vegan meat range.

Indian spice and food-tech company, Agromatic Foods, recently introduced a line of vegan meat products to help supply the surging demand within the nation. Its Letz Vez! brand frozen items are made from soy protein, as well as herbs, spices and vegetables, and include kebabs, burger patties, nuggets, sausages and more. Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Vishal Baid Jain noted that the offerings “could actually help non-vegetarians and flexitarians to quit meat,” while improving their health and protecting the environment. Way to go, Agromatic Foods, on your entry into the vegan food sector. In the blessings of Heaven, may the spiritual Indian people have blessed meditations, as they rejoice in Ahimsa.

Biologists in United States find sparrow-people create 30-minute playlist of songs.

Dr. Stephen Nowicki of Duke University and Dr. William A. Searcy of the University of Miami recently led a study in which they recorded the melodies of more than 30 male song sparrow-people in the wild. The tunes were then analyzed as to their patterns and frequency. The researchers determined that over a 30-minute period, if a tune was repeated many times in a row, the intelligent sparrow-person would not sing it again for a while. However, if the song had not been presented too much, it would be repeated again sooner. The scientists thought the variations are probably to enchant female friends listening to the mesmerizing melodies. Fascinating news, Dr. Stephen Nowicki, Dr. William A. Searcy and team, for reporting on the amazing intelligence and memory of sparrow-people. In the tender embrace of the Providence, may your study help to awaken more humans to the deep and sensitive lives of our charming avian-people co-inhabitants.

It’s time to hear hearty laughter bouncing off the walls from the following joke we have prepared. It’s called “Green.”

Two friends were chatting on a warm, sunny day:

“I bet I can get you to say the word ‘green.’”

“OK, try!”

“What is the color of the sky?”

“Blue.”

“Aha! I told you that I could get you to say ‘blue.’”

“No. You said ‘green.’”

“There you go!”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Gloria in Mexico:
