Children in Uganda receive food aid from China.

The Chinese government has provided 3,000 metric tons of food assistance worth US$2 million to school children in Karamoja, a food-insecure region in northeastern Uganda. This aid program will be implemented by the World Food Programme and benefit more than 120,000 children in 300 schools. The initiative also stimulates the local economy, because the food was purchased from local farmers. In 2021, China supported Uganda’s efforts against the COVID-19 pandemic by providing test kits. China is a Shining World Leadership Award for Wise Governance recipient and a laureate of six Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, Environmental Protection, Wildlife-Protection, and Compassionate Protection. Our heartfelt gratitude, China and World Food Programme, for your vital support to the cheerful children of Uganda. In God’s merciful Upliftment, may all the youth in Uganda grow up robust, and through their studies, soon be able to contribute greatly to society.

Afghanistan suffers massive job losses after government change.

A study published by the United Nations International Labour Organization estimates that since the Taliban took over the administration of Afghanistan in August 2021, more than half a million citizens have lost their jobs amid a “paralyzed” economy. Alarmingly, job losses are expected to surge and could reach over 900,000 during the second quarter of 2022. Disproportionately impacted by the crisis, about 16% of female workers lost their jobs in the third quarter of 2021, and this figure may hit 28% by the middle of 2022. According to the assessment, key sectors impacted by the crisis include agriculture, the civil service, and the construction industry, while hundreds of thousands of Afghan security force members have been rendered jobless. Many thanks for the vital, concerning report, International Labour Organization. May cherished Afghanistan soon be back on the path to a thriving and prosperous tomorrow, in Allah’s abounding Blessings. “The killings are for the buyers; thus the buying is the same as the killing.” ~ Lankavatara Sutra (Buddhism)

Up next, hospital in Australia uses coconut oil to protect preterm babies. We thank the exhibition coordinators at art museums who facilitate gallery installations for events to make sure visitors and guests remain engaged and fully enjoy the presentations. When we return, more smoothing news ahead, here on Supreme Master Television!

Hallo, virtuous viewers, it’s Laurie, a vegan housewife from the Grey Bamboo Lemur kingdom! I feel so contented as I follow the vegan way of peace. It’s the path that will bring us all together in harmony. I have an energy-conserving tip for us! Did you know that 75% of the energy consumed by home electronics is while they are turned off? To avoid this unnecessary waste of electricity, plug all electronics into power strips with individual switches to make it easier for you to switch off power between uses. You can also utilize smart strips instead. These devices will automatically shut off power to plugs when they are not in use. Love you so much for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! And thank you for your attention. Here’s the weather around our beautiful globe.

Australian hospital uses coconut oil to protect prematurely born babies.

The King Edward Memorial Hospital in Perth has been successfully using coconut oil to safeguard preterm babies from sepsis following a 2016 study highlighting its benefits. The oil is applied to the skin of the infants, and it has been found that a compound called monolaurin, which is highly antimicrobial, is absorbed into the baby’s bloodstream. The additional boost to the immune system is helping to reduce the need for antibiotics that can have potential long-term negative consequences for an infant. Fifteen more hospitals around the nation will also start using the natural substance as part of an expanded trial. Such joyous news, King Edward Memorial Hospital, on your success in protecting babies from bacterial infections with safe and affordable coconut oil. In Celestial splendor, may the young people of our Earth grow into noble and dignified citizens, as they uplift the planet with their pure hearts.

United Nations agency helps Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam, to plant trees for greener future.

In response to the Aulacese (Vietnamese) government’s call to plant a billion trees by 2025, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) staff in the country and the Dao ethnic community recently came together to plant around 1,000 Trám (Canarium) and Chò (Dipterocarpus) trees in Hòa Bình province. The event was also part of UNDP’s Greening Moonshot Initiative to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the agency’s global operations by 25% by 2025, and 50% by 2030. Furthermore, the Israeli embassy in the nation has donated over 22,000 trees to farmers in Hòa Bình to support the billion trees program. Our applause, UNDP, Dao ethnic community members, and Israeli embassy, for participating in this loving project to further Âu Lạc (Vietnam)’s goal. May all countries develop in a sustainable way to bring benefits to their citizens and the Earth, in Heaven’s grandeur.

High schoolers constructing house on campus for charity.

Senior students who are enrolled in a structural design and fabrication course taught by Frank Caccavale at Roxbury High School in New Jersey, United States, are building a modular three-bedroom one-story house. The initiative is being conducted in partnership with Morris Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit providing disadvantaged people with decent homes. When completed, the house will be moved from the school grounds and reassembled at an already selected permanent location and given to an underprivileged family. The project, which began in 2020, has been worked on by 35 students. The experience not only equips them with valuable skills but also provides a hands-on opportunity for them to contribute to their community. Three cheers, Frank Caccavale, all involved students, and Morris Habitat for Humanity, for this terrific endeavor. We pray that everyone in the world soon has a cozy and secure place to live, in Divine compassion. Vegan: imagine a world w/o war; only peace n 4ever peace.

Coming up, international competitive cooking show selects vegan bodybuilder as contestant for Romanian broadcast. We’ll now pause for a moment to enjoy Mozart’s Violin Sonata No. 17 in C Major, a classical piece with three movements written by the renowned composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in 1778 in Germany. You’re watching Noteworthy News on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Wonderful News for a Gracious World.

International cooking show chooses first-ever vegan contestant for Romanian version.

Masterchef Romania, part of the popular Masterchef international competitive cooking show franchise, recently selected Alex Lenghel as a participant. Mr. Lenghel is a national bodybuilding champion and has won a range of competitions, such as the Miami Pro, 2 Bros Pros, and Pure Elite. He has also created a supplement company called Massive Vegan, and stated, “I do give all credit to veganism for being the man I am now in all directions: culinary, mentally, physically, spiritually.” Congratulations, Alex Lenghel, on having the opportunity to introduce so many individuals to scrumptious vegan dishes. Way to go, Masterchef Romania, on your selection of a strong vegan to showcase delicious plant-based vegan fare to Romanians. In God’s gentle Guidance, may Mr. Lenghel's fine example help lead many people to switch to compassionate eating, as he uses this platform to help raise awareness of the loving way of sustenance.

Little homeless puppy in United States finds new life and becomes social media star.

Michael Vega, a graphic designer based in San Francisco, USA, found a three-month-old dog-person hiding in a storm drain when he was out exploring places with graffiti urban art. Michael enticed the adorable dog-person, whom he later named Rusty, with food and then took him to a veterinarian who checked for, but did not find, a microchip. Rusty was given some medicine and taken to his forever home with Michael. The story was posted on social media platform TikTok and now has over 23 million views and counting. What a happy beginning for a sweet little guy to have a new, loving home. Thank you, Michael Vega, for rescuing Rusty. Wishing the two of you many joyful years together ahead. May we always love and protect the precious animal-people co-inhabitants with whom we share planet Earth, in the benevolence of the Providence.

It’s time to take a dip in the refreshing laughter pool as the joke of the day is ready. It’s entitled “Turning 65.”

Two elderly gentlemen chat on the golf course.

“Do you know what’s my favorite thing about turning 65?”

“What’s that?”

“No more calls from life-insurance salesmen!”

And now we have a heartline from Jyunko in Japan:

Greetings! Dear Supreme Master TV team, Attached is a voice recording that expresses my true feelings from the bottom of my heart. I wish that humans will soon realize the loveliness of animal-people. I wish that World Vegan will come soon. Only when humans treat animal-people and all creatures in a friendly and peaceful way will peace and happiness come to the world. Thank you, Supreme Master TV team. Supreme Master TV team.

“Suffering”

Every day I wake up, my world is full of love, as I am in the company of people whom I love and who love me. In the genial spring breeze and bright sunshine, I indulge myself in the freedom of air and beauty of life. However, on that quiet night, when I looked at the mysterious sky, the blinking stars suddenly turned into tears of blood. Heading towards me were unknown fears and immense sorrow and anger. Shown to me were cruel pictures one after another. To my ears came the heartbreaking cries and painful moaning of animal-people. In my sight fresh blood gushed out from their trembling bodies. The fear, despair, pain, and helpless expressions in their eyes were all saying that, “We are the same as you, with blood and flesh, and we also feel pain and love!” My heart was so wrenched that I could hardly breathe, my unstoppable tears wet the front of my clothes. Oh God, oh God! Do not complain anymore that the sky is no longer blue, that the sunlight has lost its warmth of yesterday. It’s all because of our harming and killing of the innocent! Tears of repentance become a river. Deep self-condemnation is not enough to convey my apologies. How am I to face my friends who cannot speak? How am I to ask for their forgiveness? Please, do not lose hope in humans. You’ve come to help humans. You’re our friends and benefactors. We should have treated you as our children. We should have pampered you, loved you, and taken care of you. Look! More and more humans are awakening. More and more humans are becoming vegans. Look, in the sky afar, there are morning rays. I see it, I see it… In the blue sea and sky, On the lands where flowers flourish, You are flying freely, You are running happily, You are singing heartily…

Jyunko from Japan

Tenderhearted Jyunko, Thank you for sharing your poem. Your sadness is touching; your pain is palpable; the sincerity of your repentance is deep-reaching; the longing for a soon-to-be loving world, full of kindness is evident. We all wish nothing else other than to see a compassionate, vegan world quickly come to life on this planet. Our thanks for so beautifully sharing your vision. We pray that your emotions will be felt by the many across the world who hear your poem, and this helps them realize that the only proper way to treat our animal-people friends is with boundless love and the utmost respect for their God-given life. May we all unite behind the vegan wave that is spreading around our planet to honor the lives of our innocent co-inhabitants. May all the Celestial beings comfort you and help your bountiful country of Japan realize our shared vegan dream, Supreme Master TV team
