In today’s news, Taiwan, also known as Formosa, provides compassionate assistance to Filipino typhoon victims, top European supermarket chains halt selling Brazilian beef products linked to deforestation, large bank in United States drops overdraft fees to protect customers, Germany’s largest solar farm to date becomes fully operational, taxi driver honored for returning passenger’s lost money in United Arab Emirates, British car giant offers leather-free interiors for new vehicles, and dog-person from USA receives 2021 American Humane Hero Dog Award.

Taiwan, also known as Formosa, delivers relief items to typhoon victims in Philippines.

Having suffered multiple typhoons in 2021, the 15th and final one to affect the Philippines was super typhoon Rai, which sadly caused over 400 lives to be lost, many injuries, and approximately 570,000 people to be evacuated from their homes. Neighboring Taiwan (Formosa), a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion recipient, generously donated US$500,000, followed by a delivery of 10 metric tons of emergency items. The aid, that included bottled water, food rations, instant noodles, cookies, canned food, and portable water filters, was distributed to victims in the provinces of Bohol, Cebu, and Negros Oriental. Our hearts are so touched by your loving help to the faithful Filipino people, Taiwan (Formosa). Our condolences to the affected. May they rapidly regain normalcy in their lives, as all in the world soon adopt the benevolent organic vegan lifestyle to stabilize the climate for a sustainable future, in Heaven’s infinite healing power.

Several supermarket chains in Europe stop selling Brazilian beef linked to deforestation.

Six European supermarket chains including Sainsbury’s UK, Lidl Netherlands and Carrefour Belgium have announced they will either stop selling beef products from Brazil, or those products linked to JBS, the world’s largest beef company, which slaughters almost 35,000 cow-people a day in Brazil alone. The supermarkets acted after news organization Repórter Brasil, in collaboration with the campaign group Mighty Earth, published a report on JBS’s practice of cattle-laundering, or fraudulently sourcing beef from cattle-people raised on illegally deforested areas. In a statement, Mighty Earth Europe Director Nico Muzi noted, “These commercial actions as well as new EU legislation to stamp out imported deforestation, show that the grip is tightening on forest destroyers.” Our appreciation, Mighty Earth, Repórter Brasil and all participating supermarkets. May all consumers support a bright future on our planet by now switching to plant-based living, in Celestial light. Vegan: celebration of life.

Up next, large bank in United States drops overdraft fees to protect customers. We’ll now thank the arbitration chairpersons or umpires who help manage the affairs of arbitrator committees that handle dispute resolution outside the judicial courts. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more supporting news.

Hi, sea-loving friends, how have you been? I’m Yoda, a vegan boy from the Yellow Cubicus kingdom. Delightful days are ahead of us when we all follow the wonderful vegan path. And this I can promise you! Today, I’d like to offer an uplifting tip. Simply expressing your appreciation to others when they do something nice for you will not only make them feel good, but also make you feel good. Both sides— the doer and the receiver of the good deed— will instantly feel the positive effects, and this can ignite feelings of happiness and joy. The gesture of thanking someone should not be underestimated— it is simple, yet powerful and could make all the difference in someone’s day. With gratitude, you might also realize that all living things are interconnected with each other and what we say and do really matters. Thank you for tuning in, and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now the weather around the globe!

Major United States bank ends overdraft fees to protect customers.

Leading bank holding company Capital One recently dropped overdraft fees to help safeguard their customers who spend more money than they have in their account. The move will cost the firm an estimated US$150 million in profits per year. Many banks in the nation currently charge the fee, which could be between US$25 and US$35 per transaction. The announcement comes as the banking industry has been under pressure from consumer advocates who want to help protect people from excessive charges, especially those who can least afford them, as well as from innovation in the fintech (financial technology) industry that has seen better value banking services made available with no-fee models. A round of applause, Capital One, for putting the well-being of your clients first. In the care of the Providence, may all companies adopt responsible policies to ensure the dignity of their customers.

Germany’s largest solar park without government funding goes online.

Located near Berlin, the Weesow-Willmersdorf farm, comprised of 465,000 solar panels, has been officially inaugurated. The 187 megawatt project was implemented without state subsidies by German-headquartered energy company, EnBW, which also has two other large-scale solar farms in the nation scheduled to become operational in the spring of this year. The Weesow-Willmersdorf solar park has a sufficient supply of electricity for approximately 50,000 households, while saving about 129,000 tons of CO2 annually. Extending over 164 hectares, the entire solar park has been designated as a green space with public pathways, the planting of fruit and native deciduous trees, as well as the inclusion of a wide variety of bushes and habitats for small animal-persons such as rabbit- and fox-people. Three cheers on your efforts toward clean energy, EnBW and supportive German residents! May Germany enjoy a pristine environment along with a secure and sustainable future, in God’s Blessings.

Taxi driver in United Arab Emirates (UAE) honored for his honesty.

Nigerian Abraham Airaodion, who works as a taxi driver in the UAE, was recently recognized by Sharjah Taxi with a certificate and an award of over US$320, for returning a bag containing around US$27,000 that was mistakenly left in his taxi by a customer. When the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) contacted Mr. Airaodion to see if the bag had been left in his taxi, the upright driver assured the RTA that he was already on his way to where he dropped the customer off to return it. Thank you, Abraham Airaodion, for returning the cash and setting an excellent example of honesty for all to follow. In the grace of Heaven, may we always celebrate good deeds and love, as these are marks of nobility. Vegan: cuz we can’t b that stupid!

Coming up, British car giant offers leather-free interiors for new vehicles. Let us take a moment to appreciate the healthy organic seeds that turn into thriving plants with proper care, good vegan compost, sunlight and water. We’ll be right back with more pleasant news here on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Comfortable News for a Brighter World.

British luxury sports vehicle brand offers vegan leather interior.

The Jaguar Land Rover company has partnered with United States-based vegan leather supplier, Ultrafabrics, to produce its Range Rover model’s first all-vegan leather interior. The light-weight and eco-friendly material has similar tactile qualities as its traditional leather counterpart, while being 30% lighter and generating 75% less carbon emissions in its production. The polyurethane-based leather is offered in two colors, namely Ebony in the Standard Range Rover model, and Light Cloud with Cinder Grey in the SV Intrepid model. Ultrafabrics’ polyurethane-based leather is now also used in several other industries, including furniture, yachts, and aircraft. Our gratitude, Jaguar Land Rover and Ultrafabrics, for bringing outstanding innovation and vegan luxury through continual research. In Divine benevolence, may your stylish and comforting animal-people-free inventions inspire many others to produce 100% vegan creations for all to enjoy.

Courageous therapy dog-person wins American Humane’s 2021 Hero Dog Award.

Non-profit American Humane, dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of animal-people, awarded kindhearted Boone the Hero Dog Award as well as the top place in the therapy dog-person category. When he was a puppy, Boone lost his hind legs due to abuse by his previous caregiver. Fortunately, Tanya Diable adopted the sweet canine-person and provided him with a wheelchair to help him get around. As an official staff member of the Pittsburgh International Airport’s Dog Therapy Program, Pups Alleviating Worry and Stress (PIT PAWS), Boone and other trained therapy dog-persons help passengers relax before flying. Boone also helps children to read via his supportive presence and is an ambassador for non-profit Joey’s PAW, which finances prosthetics and wheelchairs for special needs canine individuals. We are proud of you, Boone, lovely soul and good dog-person friend. May humanity soon appreciate all animal-people as our best friends on Earth, in God’s Compassion.

Now it’s time to laugh ourselves silly with the joke of the day entitled, “Parking Space.”

Two girls were in a car driving around looking for a parking space.

“You know, Liz, boyfriends are just like parking spaces.”

“What do you mean?”

“The good ones are always taken!”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Matías in Chile:

Hallo, Beloved Master Ching Hai. I thank You very much for being my guide, taking care of me, protecting me, and helping me in every way. Master, thanks to You, I find that I am a better person than I was before, and that is thanks to Your teachings.

I want to get initiated and be a good disciple, but I have a problem: my mind. I feel very bad because my mind insults; it says things that I do not want to say. There is a voice inside me that says that I am a Buddha, but I tell this voice, “No, I’m not a Buddha yet. Do not say things that are not true.” And I even believed it once. Master, I am very scared and worried, because in a video from July 31, 2021, You said something about that. Master, what can I do to control my mind? I have recited Your name whenever my mind starts to get out of control or when I see that it is going to say something bad. I know that You said that we only recite it in urgent cases. I beg Your forgiveness, Master. Thank You for listening to me. Thank You so much for everything. I love You very much. Matías from Chile

Hopeful Matías, We believe that many others also find it a challenge to control the mind and think only elevated thoughts. They may benefit from your example of perseverance. Thank you for your letter.

Master replies with loving guidance to you: “Aspiring Matias, it is important to watch and control your thoughts, especially in these troubled times. If you have a negative thought, simply replace it immediately with a positive one. Use all the tools at your disposal, including watching Supreme Master Television, praying to whomever is the highest in your Faith, and reading uplifting spiritual works by present and past enlightened Masters. Do what works best for you to lift your spirits up to the Divine, and may God watch over and guide you and the vibrant Chilean people in joy and peace.”

“If we kill and eat them [animal-people], then we owe them a blood debt.” ~ Teachings of the Saints (Cao Đài-ism)
