In today’s news, Argentina to host new regional humanitarian logistics hub, scientists explain nearly 850-year-old astronomical mystery, researchers in United States demonstrate the importance of parks and nature to children’s health, design student develops carbon-capturing paint from waste cement, through online platform South African farmers channel excess produce to those in need during COVID lockdowns, bakery chain in United Kingdom creates vegan ham and cheese baguette, and bear cub rescued from poacher and taken to sanctuary in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam.

Regional hub to enhance humanitarian responses in South American countries.

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies together with the Argentine Red Cross are creating a humanitarian logistics hub at the Ministro Pistarini International Airport in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The site will allow the Red Cross to expand its humanitarian services in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay. It will serve to speed up response times for those affected by emergencies and disasters by providing procurement, warehousing, logistics support, and transportation. The Humanitarian Innovation Laboratory will also be hosted by the hub, providing advanced solutions to a wide range of challenges in the area. Great news, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and Argentine Red Cross, on your new center to help provide urgent assistance to people in times of need. In Heaven’s infinite grace, we pray that the world will soon know peace and stability as the good karma from our kind actions and thoughts protects and heals all.

Twelfth-century astronomical mystery solved.

Nearly 850 years ago, Chinese and Japanese astronomers reported a new celestial light that they called the “guest star.” Historical reports indicate that it appeared suddenly between two Chinese constellations, Chuanshe (Guest Houses) and Huagai (Gilded Canopy), and was visible for six months before fading away. Recently, an international team of astronomers has shed new light on this mysterious “guest star,” reporting that the event in 1181 was a supernova that aligns in age, location, brightness and duration with what today is known as the “Parker’s Star” – a sizzling-hot body formed by the merging of two white dwarf stars. The exciting discovery represents the first time a supernova recorded in antiquity has been traced in the present day to its stellar remnants. Our appreciation, modern and ancient astronomers, for your work that has aligned to share our eternal awe of the Universe, in the grandeur of the Cosmos. Vegan: cuz the animals r guiltless.

Up next, researchers in United States demonstrate the importance of parks and nature to children’s health. We thank the smart people without whom we could not have convenient communication tools such as the internet, mobile technology, social media, and apps such as Skype and Line, etc. We’ll return with more helpful news after this message here on Supreme Master Television.

Hi, generous viewers! I am Stanley, a vegan person from the Striped Eel Catfish kingdom. Life in the water is so much fun, with plenty of aquatic plants to eat. Oh, and you said you are vegan too? How wonderful! Today, I have a tip for you. If you’re about to open up an old paint can after months or even years, first, avoid shaking the can. This is because you don’t want to mix the paint with any rust or debris coming from the inner lining of the can. Also, look out for paint “skin” that may have developed at the top of the paint. Instead of mixing this film into the paint, which will give it a lumpy consistency, use a stick or spoon to carefully remove the film. If the film is thin and starts to fall apart, you’ll have to strain the paint before use. Do strain any old paint if you’re not sure how pure it is, as this may prevent getting a lot of paint debris bits stuck on your newly painted walls. Thank you for tuning in and love you a lot for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now for the weather around the globe.

United States study shows importance of nature to children’s health.

Researchers from Washington State University and the University of Washington recently reviewed data from almost 300 previous studies, and demonstrated that nature is linked to children’s health and mental wellbeing. The report noted that having green spaces near schools and homes were strongly associated with improved mental health, as well as increased physical activity. The findings come at a vital time when the nation is experiencing a crisis revolving around physical inactivity and poor mental wellbeing in youth. The study’s lead author Dr. Amber Fyfe-Johnson commented, “We sincerely hope our work will help lead to improved access to nature and health outcomes for kids...” We salute you, Dr. Amber Fyfe-Johnson and co-researchers, for your timely report on the need for more green spaces for children. In Divine abundance, may communities build more parks for our beloved youngsters, as we allow nature to protect their innate beauty and growth.

Environmentally friendly paint offers several advantages.

With her background in architecture, engineering and design, Kukbong Kim is passionate about solving environmental problems through innovation. That is why the graduate of the UK-based Royal College of Art and Imperial College London came up with a product called Celour paint, which is made from a cement-based residue created during concrete recycling that would otherwise end up in landfills where it can harm ecosystems. Once applied, the paint, that is indoor and outdoor suitable, naturally sequesters around 20% of its weight in carbon from the ambient air, helping to offset some of the carbon dioxide generated in the original cement’s production. Ms. Kim wants Celour to eventually become carbon negative through further refinement. Our praises, Kukbong Kim, for your focus on living in harmony with our environment. In God’s Benevolence, may we love and care for this awesome world which has been entrusted to us for the benefit of all beings.

South African farmers go online to distribute produce to those in need.

Tebogo Sebambo, the co-founder of At Source Food Serv, grows baby carrots, cabbages, sugar snap peas and other vegetables in Gauteng, South Africa. When coronavirus lockdowns were implemented, the usual markets were closed, and farmers like Mr. Sebambo had an excess supply of vegetables on their hands. This intelligent supplier then turned to the online platform OneFarm Share that allows growers to donate or discount their produce to programs that feed the needy, such as Food Forward SA. The service offers transport, logistics and warehousing support so that the still fresh foods can quickly reach people otherwise lacking access to nutritious sustenance. Since its launch in November 2020, OneFarm Share has delivered over 2,200 metric tons of fresh produce, equivalent to some eight million meals for over 700,000 people in the country. Bravo, participating plant farmers, relief organizations and all supporters of OneFarm Share! Your laudable collaboration saves nature’s precious gifts and brings vital assistance to the vulnerable, in Divine love. No 2 vegan: distance urself from the virtuous crowd.

Coming up, bakery chain in United Kingdom creates vegan ham and cheese baguette. We’ll now pray for a moment that we remain steadfast in our noble ideals of helping one another and the animals. Supreme Master Television will return in just a moment with more encouraging news. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Laudable News for a Benevolent World.

Leading British bakery chain releases vegan ham and cheese baguette.

In 2019, United Kingdom brand Greggs released an industry-changing vegan version of its classic sausage roll for Veganuary, as well as vegan breakfast rolls, plant-based steak-bakes and more. Following on from that success, the company has now launched their new Vegan Ham and CheeZe Baguette throughout the UK. The delectable item replicates the flavors of the animal-based version with the mock-ham in the baguette made by Quorn using mycoprotein and a plant-based mature cheddar flavor cheese by Violife. Way to go, Greggs, on your release of yet another delicious vegan innovation. In the guidance of the Providence, we humbly pray that all food companies quickly switch their products to vegan versions as we lovingly care for our precious planet.

Collaborative efforts save baby bear in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam.

An Asian black bear cub named Wonder was seized from a poacher by the Điện Biên border police officers, after they had been alerted to the bear’s existence by the anti-wildlife trafficking non-profit Education For Nature Vietnam. The police contacted staff at Animals Asia, who traveled around 500 kilometers from Tam Đảo to Điện Biên. Animals Asia transported Wonder back to its shelter, where he is currently undergoing a 45-day quarantine. Then, he will be released into Animal Asia’s sanctuary in Tam Đảo National Park. Once there, the deserving fellow will be able to live happily, freely and safely with good friends. Animals Asia is a Shining World Compassion Award recipient, which has previously received US$30,000 from Supreme Master Ching Hai to support the charity’s work. Our heartfelt gratitude, Animals Asia volunteers, Điện Biên police officers and Education For Nature Vietnam, for your cooperative efforts to rescue darling Wonder. In Buddha’s infinite love, we pray that every animal is protected by kind human hearts.

We’re sharing a joke from our favorites, titled “Perspectives.”

It’s nearing the end of the school year, and mom decides to give her daughter a pep talk.

“Ariel, if you make it to the next grade, we’ll go on a nice trip.”

Ariel thinks about it for a moment and replies:

“You know what, Mom, it’s nice here at home, too.”

And now we have a heartline from Juliana in Brazil & Jayden in the United States:

Dear Supreme Master TV team, Firstly, I would like to thank Supreme Master Ching Hai and the Supreme Master TV team as well as the remote workers from all over the world for their outstanding work and the authentic TV channel. I feel confident to say that Supreme Master Television is the most original and positive channel in the whole Universe.

I would like to offer a tip to our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai concerning the computer’s blue light which is a short wavelength light. It can harm one’s retinas, cause eyestrain and headaches, or even affect one’s sleep. The brightness can be adjusted in Windows by going to Settings > System > Display, and then by moving the Change Brightness slider to adjust the brightness.

In one of Master’s conferences with the Supreme Master TV team, Master mentioned that the screen’s brightness made it challenging for Her to read “The Story of Confucius and Xiang Tuo.” Blue light-blocking glasses or clip-on ones can help filter out the harmful rays from the computer screen. It might be beneficial for Master to have a couple of these types of glasses available on occasions where Master needs to have the computer screen nearer to Her.

May our most precious Supreme Master Ching Hai be always protected by the Mighty Godses and benevolent Cosmic Beings, enabling Master to accomplish Her mission at this time on Earth. With much Love, Juliana from Brazil

Dear Master, I have a recommendation for eyeglasses that will help You when working on a computer for a long period of time. There is a line of blue light-blocking eyeglasses that will block harmful blue light from computer screens and protect Your eyes from being strained. This works wonders for me because I work on the computer constantly with my job. While staring at the screen, our bodies act as if it is still daytime outside and this will affect our ability to relax and rest. I hope this technology can help Master alleviate some eyestrain problems. Jayden from the United States

Thoughtful Julianna and Jayden, Our appreciation to you for your kind messages. Thank you for your concern for Beloved Master’s health and well-being as well as the recommendations. Many people will also benefit from this knowledge of how to protect themselves from the harmful effects of blue light. May God forever shield you both and your respective lively nations of Brazil and the United States, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master sends a note to you both: “Loving Julianna and Jayden, I am so glad to receive your advice. You are so right, as my eyes do hurt often, perhaps due to over reading and kinda blurry while reading the text on a computer screen. Many thanks for thinking of me and for your helpful information. I will look into getting these types of glasses as I am on the computer daily, usually deep into the night in order to have work done. Your thoughtfulness touches my heart. I am so immersed in work that I do not have enough time to think of or to research the ways to best protect myself when working with computers. Will ask to get the glasses for team members who don’t have, and for me too. Hoping viewers will take note and spread this info for all to take care of themselves. Thank you so much for your love and support. May God always bless and watch over you and your great countries of Brazil and the United States.”
