Previously in Part 1 of this multipart series on Tony Cavallaro’s near-death experience, Tony suffered a heart attack while repairing a bulldozer at an isolated construction site. As the pain became unbearable inside the ambulance, he lost consciousness and found himself in a dark, silent dimension, where he sensed the presence of GOD. Tony began floating toward the clouds, but when he thought of his children, he turned around.

Tony woke to a paramedic staring over him, who told him he was at Glen Cove Hospital and had suffered a heart attack. He drifted in and out of consciousness during a second ambulance transfer to North Shore University Hospital, where he was greeted by his wife and youngest daughter before doctors placed stents in him.

And I woke up in my hospital bed, and I said to myself, like, “Wow, I feel great.” And I got out of bed, and I walked around the room. I said, “Whoa. I feel really good.” I sat there saying, “Whoa, what a hallucination. What a dream.” I recalled what happened. I said, “I can’t believe this. That can’t be real.” So, I call up my friend Nicky Salmonis. He is a retired 9/11 fireman from New York City. And I told him the story I just told you. I go, “They must have gave me morphine man, because it must have been a hallucination.”

He goes, “I don’t know, Anthony.” I go, “What do you mean?” He goes, “I don’t know. I think if they gave you morphine, that would have slowed up your heart and killed you.” I go, “Really? What do you think happened?” He goes, “I don’t know what to tell you, brother.”

And, meanwhile, like I said, I felt, like, perfect. I had this high about me. And with that, I hang up. Five minutes later, the phone rings. So, I pick it up. “Who is this?” “Brian Bordemack, fire department.” “Hey, how you doing?” He goes, “We want to know if you want to fill out an evaluation sheet for us.” “An evaluation sheet for what?” He goes, “Especially with the way you conducted yourself in my ambulance, you were flatlined on me for three minutes.” I go, “What did you say?” He goes, “You heard me, sir. You have a good day.” And he hung up the phone. Now, I’m sitting there and saying to myself, “That whole thing, that was all real.”

When I was standing on those clouds, it was amazing. It was absolutely amazing how I felt. I could only imagine what was on the other side of those clouds. But I felt this: GOD loves everybody. There isn’t any religion. We are spiritual beings, and we do not die. I feel that GOD worked through different people in different ways, so that they can learn how to worship HIM and to be at peace. GOD wants peace. HE doesn’t want these wars in the world. Nobody should be killing each other’s babies, no matter what color they are or what religion they are. There should be peace on Earth. This is the knowledge I come back with: that Heaven is open to all of us, and GOD doesn’t want you killing people in HIS name. We’re all connected. We are all part of GOD. That’s how we have our own relationship with GOD. All of us have individual relationships, because we’re part of this. We are part of the energy. We are a part of it. We are a part of HIM.

When his sister was dying of cancer, Tony told her the story and asked why she thought he hadn’t seen anyone at the entrance to Heaven. She goes, “Anthony, if you would have seen Mommy and Daddy or anybody, you wouldn’t have come back. And you had to come back for your kids. That’s why you turned around.”

A few years later, when his brother was dying of cancer, Tony told him not to be afraid. And he wasn’t. He died in peace. He died quietly. GOD took him in a nice way that he deserved. He deserved to pass the way he did. I was able to ferry both of them over without fear. I told this story to many people. GOD knows that we’re human, and we make mistakes.

All I saw was those clouds, but I was in a peaceful, silent place. I looked up; that was the entrance to Heaven. It exists. GOD is real, and so is Heaven. I feel maybe a lot of people, they mourn so badly and grieve the person. Maybe it holds them back, in a way. It’s a possibility that they linger around on the Earth. Have faith and believe that they’re in a better place. Let their souls be at rest, and let them go. You will see them again. We will see everybody again. I know it. We don’t die.

GOD is real. Heaven is real. And we don’t die. GOD is absolutely real. It’s real. I can’t say it enough. GOD is real. And HE’s Divine. GOD hears us. And all loved ones hear us. Look up. Those people are not in the hole. That’s your body. We are totally detached. We move on. They’re not there. So, when you’re right there at the gravesite or wherever they may be, don’t look down; look up.

Tony says Heaven is not reserved for followers of any one religion. I’m a Christian. I’m a Catholic. How about the other two-thirds of the world? They’re a Buddhist or Hindu or any other religion. How about them? You think GOD’s going to love you more, and them less, or not let them into Heaven? It doesn’t work that way.

Asked for a final message, Tony’s answer was simple: GOD wants peace. That’s what I have to say. And we shouldn’t be killing each other’s babies. (Spiritual Warrior Journey)
