Tal Gilboa: At The Forefront of Inspiring Israel's Vegan Movement, Part 2 of 3

In 2013 Tal Gilboa co-founded “Israel Animal Liberation Front” which was renamed “Total Liberation Israel” in 2018. This is one of the fastest growing social movements of our time calling for the total liberation of animals everywhere through marches, rallies and blockading trucks to the slaughter houses etc. The animal justice movement is increasingly attracting adherents across Israel and the activism is paving the way for a new era in animal rights. Besides various initiatives including creative protests and demonstrations, Tal Gilboa was also delivering lectures to diverse audiences: from high-school students to the military, business and political decision-makers. Her passion for animal causes took her to face unchartered territory, to compete for the first time and won the 6th edition of the intense contest of HaAh HaGadol. “Half a million people changed their diet while I was there. And everything that I did was just to think about, ‘It's going to do good for the animals or not?’”
