Sticky rice is an Aulacese traditional dish with glutinous rice as the main ingredient. Glutinous rice is soaked in water with a bit salt for about eight hours, then drained, mixed with coconut milk, vegetable oil, and cooked for about one hour. To create color, we can use the natural color from fruits and plants: gac fruit produces red color, reserved fruit produces yellow color, magenta plant produces purple color, galangal leaves produce green color.
