In today’s news, Norway contributes funds to assist UN humanitarian agency, drought in Kenya causes increased wild animal-people deaths, smartphone data to improve safety monitoring process for bridges in USA, Scottish children follow program of daily exercise for better health, trucker in United States provides emergency medical aid to injured motorists, jackfruit vegan meat brand created in Âu Lạc (also known as Vietnam), and pit bull-person saves Chihuahua baby from accident in pool.

United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) receives financial aid from Norway.

The government of Norway has contributed US$9.6 million to the FAO to strengthen its ability to anticipate and deal with humanitarian emergencies and crises. In a recent analysis, the FAO and World Food Programme reported that 222 million people have been suffering from famine this year, with terrible droughts, flooding and climate change impacts having the greatest effects. Additionally, skyrocketing food and fuel prices from the Russian invasion of Ukraine (Ureign) and political unrest in many regions have exacerbated the situation. The FAO will focus on protecting agricultural livelihoods by helping people to grow their own food, which is seven to ten times more cost-effective and sustainable than providing direct food aid. Norway is a recipient of Shining World Leadership Awards for Environmental Protection, Humanitarianism, Good Governance and Peace, and a laureate of Shining World Leadership Awards for Animal Protection and Compassion. Way to go, Norway and FAO, on your benevolent endeavor in responding to the global hunger crisis. In the grace of Heaven, may your timely assistance save many people from famine, give them the means to take care of themselves, while strengthening their resilience.

Sadly, animal-people succumb to drought in Kenya.

East Africa’s worst drought in 40 years has caused many wildlife fatalities in Kenya in the past ten months of this year, including: 205 elephant-, 512 wildebeest-, 381 zebra-, 51 buffalo- and 49 rare and endangered Grevy’s zebra-people. The north and south of the country, where the majority of the elephants reside, have been most severely affected. Some rainfall has finally started in the region, however according to Kenya’s meteorological department, it is forecasted to be below-average for the coming months. The Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Heritage warned that the actual figure of fatalities may be higher and has recommended providing the wildlife-people with water, salt licks, and food as well as to increase monitoring and data collection. What saddening news, Kenya. We pray, in the Mercy of God, that we soon adopt the environment-friendly plant-based lifestyle to restore climate balance to our Earth home. Vegan = no blood on our hands!

Up next, smartphone data to improve bridges’ safety monitoring process. We now pause to thank organic green bean farmers for providing us with healthy and safe food that is high in protein, fiber and vital nutrients. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more conductive news.

Hallo, brilliant viewers, I am Connie, a vegan environmentalist from the Candy Basslet kingdom! With all my heart, I'd like to ask you to join me on this special mission of creating a loving world for all. And just a simple thing is required: following the life-cherishing plant-based way! Here's a tip on how to prepare for a nuclear fallout or residual radioactive material such as dust and ash that is produced after a nuclear weapon explodes. There are some guidelines to help you increase your readiness for this kind of critical scenario. First and foremost, you must get inside right away ‒ it is safest to take shelter in the middle of a concrete or brick building. Then, take off any contaminated clothing and clean any skin area that were unprotected and might have been exposed to a fallout. Avoid further contamination by not touching your eyes, mouth, or nose. Stay put inside for a minimum of 72 hours, but it is safer if you can hold on for two weeks. Be sure to keep your animal companions inside as well. Staying up to date is crucial, and it is recommended to keep a dynamo- or battery-powered radio around. Only consume and drink packaged products and frozen or refrigerated food. Steer clear of tap water and drink bottled water or beverages instead. If you don’t have these available, then it is safe to consume water from the toilet tank or water heater. The very last resort is tap water. Be prepared and have all necessary supplies ready. It is advisable to locate shelters in the area where you spend most of your time in advance. Thank you for watching, and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants alike. Here’s the weather around the world!

Smartphone data to improve safety monitoring processes for USA bridges.

With hundreds of thousands of bridges across the country, the primary methods of evaluating their ongoing status and safety are by extensive visual inspections by engineers, or sensors installed on the bridges. However, researchers from West Point Military Academy and several universities in the United States have developed a new and more efficient method. They gather accelerometer information from smartphones in vehicles, which detect the naturally occurring bridge vibrations while driving across them. It has been found that the accuracy of data from just two smartphones using this technology is similar to installing over 240 sensors on a bridge. The information collected will increase bridges’ structural longevity by an estimated 30 percent, as maintenance work can be done in a timely manner. Great thinking, researchers, engineers and all involved, in developing this smart and impactful approach. We pray that this will bring safer travels to all people, in Celestial blessings.

Scotland encourages children to exercise daily to improve health.

Scotland has become the first Daily Mile Nation in the world, with half of the country’s school children, or around 187,000, doing at least 15 minutes of exercise each day, which is equivalent to jogging one mile, or 1.6 kilometers. The Daily Mile is an initiative for youth where all schools and caregivers make time for outdoor exercise each day, so as to instill a love of fitness into the children they care for, and thus ensure a lifetime of better health. Over half of the nation’s primary schools are now participating in the health promoting scheme, while the Scottish Football Association is also supporting the program through its many community clubs. Great news, Scotland, on your country’s success in encouraging your youth to be physically active. In the grace of the Divine, may caregivers around the world always ensure children live balanced lives, with adequate vegan nutrition, as well as enough time to learn, play and exercise.

Truck driver helps crash victims on highway in United States.

When trucker Tony Doughty from Greenville, South Carolina, was driving on the highway in New Mexico one morning, he saw a car that had crashed into a barrier after it was hit by a jeep. Mr. Doughty immediately rushed to the scene with his emergency medical technician bag. With 12 years of experience as a volunteer firefighter, the caring first responder swiftly put a splint on one driver, who had broken his leg, and then tended to the other driver, who was not seriously injured. The kind trucker and the police officer who responded to the incident stayed with the crash victims until an ambulance arrived. The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) has recognized Mr. Doughty as a Highway Angel for his timely assistance. We gratefully applaud your act of kindness while on duty, Tony Doughty. May the injured drivers soon recover and enjoy good health and happiness, in Heaven’s goodness. Vegan: cos animal-people r our benefactors.

Coming up, jackfruit vegan meat brand created in Âu Lạc (also known as Vietnam). We will pause for a moment to remember the times when the kindness of strangers has touched our hearts. More righteous news when we return! Please stay with us here on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Shining News for a Kinder World.

Aulacese (or Vietnamese) jackfruit growing region expands into vegan meat products.

A vegan meat brand has been formed by the Mai Dương Food and Spice Sauce Manufacturing Facility in the jackfruit growing region Mekong Delta of Âu Lạc (or Vietnam). The area produces around 420,000 tonnes of jackfruit per year, but during the COVID-19 pandemic, the price of the fruit declined considerably, thus affecting the farmers’ incomes. This led to the creation of the Lemit brand of jackfruit vegan meats and products, which includes mock fish cake, puff pastry, mock-pate dried jackfruit and more. The company conducted extensive research into which variety of the fruit to use, and suitable methods of processing, including using the seeds. Soon exports will begin as they ramp up their production capacity and enter new markets. Way to go, Mai Dương, on your expansion into the vegan meat and food market. In the grace of the Buddha, may your business continue to expand as your products become popular all over the world.

Caring pit bull-person in Jardinopolis, Brazil, saves her friend from drowning.

Youtube video footage shows a few dog-people walking around a swimming pool, when suddenly 3-month-old Puma, a Chihuahua puppy, missteps and falls into the water. Puma tries unsuccessfully to pull himself up to the pool’s edge. According to her human caregiver, Athena, the loving pit bull-lady, was alerted by the noise and ran down the stairs. After passing through a gate, she jumped into the pool and succeeded in grabbing ahold of the scared puppy and pulled him out. Athena’s caretaker quickly rushed out and patted the heroic canine-person in gratitude. Pit bull-people are known to be amazing nannies to the ones they love. Thank you, Athena! Your selfless actions and bravery provide a wonderful example of love. May all dog-people be protected, in the eternal care of the Providence.

Now, it's time to connect the chuckle cables and get the joke of the day running. It's entitled, “Daddy Clean.”

Two boys are very proud about how clean their fathers are.

“My daddy is very clean; he takes a shower every single day.”

“That's nothing! My daddy is even cleaner. He is so clean that he doesn't need to take shower every day, he only takes one once a week!”
