In today’s news, United Kingdom contributes £11 million for Uganda’s food crisis, avian flu found in animal-person factory in California, USA, causing tens of thousands of chicken-persons to be euthanized, researchers from Korea find walking reduces mortality risk by 40% in mature aged people, organic apple orchard in Germany also generates solar power, Canadian firefighters send equipment to assist front-line responders in Ukraine, United States vegan barbecue meat brand announces expansion, and notoriously dangerous road in Bolivia becomes a wildlife haven after safer route opened.

United Kingdom donates £11 million to help address Uganda’s food shortages and malnutrition.

In Britain’s recent relief package for Uganda, £9 million was allocated to the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and £2 million to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). The contribution will provide vital nutrition, food aid and protection to at-risk women, children, refugees, and host communities in the Karamoja region, which has also been affected by drought, floods and other factors. Uganda is currently home to Africa’s largest number of refugees, with 1.5 million people, thus placing further pressure on the nation’s already limited resources. Abdirahman Meygag, WFP Representative and Country Director in Uganda, shared, “With this contribution, the fate of many children will be rewritten as we enable them to beat malnutrition, have better life outcomes, and a brighter future.” The United Kingdom is a laureate of the Shining World Leadership for Caring Award, Shining World Wise Leadership Award, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, Animal Protection and Kindness. We are very grateful to you, United Kingdom, for your generosity. May Uganda recover from this adversity and soon flourish and prosper, in Heaven’s comforting care.

Avian flu spreads in Californian animal-people factory.

Avian flu was recently detected by the United States Department of Agriculture in an animal-person factory in California, resulting in the euthanization of almost 34,000 chicken-people. The disease can be caught by humans who have contact with infected surfaces or bird-people, and is also often fatal to waterfowl- and other wild bird-people. These diseased chicken-people were previously bred for human consumption, but will not be sold. Other outbreaks in the state have been documented as well, and in total 40 million bird-people in the country have tested positive for Avian flu. Such saddening news, United States Department of Agriculture, on the ongoing spread of zoonotic diseases within your nation. In the wisdom of the Providence, may humanity soon go vegan, as we protect ourselves and all beings from the devastating karma of killing. Vegan: cos we remember what the Saints taught us.

Up next, researchers from Korea find walking reduces risk of death by 40% in mature aged people. We’ll just give thanks to the hotel janitors who keep the premises sparkling clean, thus enhancing the attractiveness and peacefulness of the property. Please stay with us for more worthwhile news on Supreme Master Television.

Hi, selfless friends, it’s me, BJ, a vegan dad from the Barred Eagle-owl kingdom! I’m a real stickler for wise food choices, and as a full-time dad, I’m helping my family members learn how to eat compassionately while also growing big and strong. Today we have a healthy hygiene tip from our most Cherished Supreme Master Ching Hai. “Hi beautiful angels in the form of children. Hope you have been doing well. In terms of protection for our environment, there are many ways you can do it. For example, if you want to store some leftover cooking or some salad that you have not been able to use all at one time, then you don’t have to use cling wrap. It’s plastic, it’s never good for the environment. So, you just put it in a bowl and cover it with a plate, if you don’t have any suitable glass containers or ceramic containers. Every little thing you do to save the environment is good for our world. Thank you for that. God loves you kids.” Thank You so much, Supreme Master Ching Hai, for inspiring us to take care of the environment with this simple and useful tip. And thank you all for tuning in. Much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants alike. Now, the weather around the world!

Korean researchers find walking reduces the risk of death by 40%.

A team from Inje University Sanggye Paik Hospital in Seoul recently determined that people aged 85 and over were 40% less likely to die from any cause, if they walk 10 minutes per day. Exercise levels from over 7,000 people were tracked in the study, with the average age of participants being 87. Lead author and cardiologist, Dr. Moo-Nyun Jin, said that “adults are less likely to meet activity recommendations as they get older” and the findings stress that people should aim to ‘keep walking throughout life’. The researchers suggested chair-based exercises for those who cannot walk, and also highlighted gardening and housework as effective ways to incorporate more movement into a person’s life. Such an encouraging study, Dr. Moo-Nyun Jin and team, on the importance of remaining active throughout life. In the grace of the Buddha, may your advice help our older generations to enjoy longer lives in more vibrant good health.

Organic apple orchard in Germany also generates solar power.

Christian Nachtwey, a farmer from Gelsdorf, West Germany, has been growing apple trees under solar panels in an effort to maximize land use and generate additional income. This method of farming has become increasingly popular in Europe and North America. The solar panels on Mr. Nachtwey’s farm have been producing an abundant amount of electricity from the abnormally warm summer this year, whilst providing much-needed shade for the apple trees. However, it is critical that the right mix of solar and crop is achieved as this can affect the taste, color and quality of the fruit. It is envisioned that further research under various weather conditions will show that fruit trees are able to thrive under solar panels. What an innovative idea, Christian Nachtwey. We wish you much success as the planet moves forward to a greener and brighter future, in Divine sustenance.

Firefighters in Canada send desperately needed supplies to first responders in Ukraine.

Non-profit organization Firefighters Aid Ukraine (FAU) has sent 89 metric tons of unwanted or no longer needed medical supplies, personal protective equipment, firefighter gear and life rescue equipment from fire departments and vendors in Canada and California, USA, to Ukrainian front-line workers. This much needed aid from FAU will help to serve and protect Ukrainian citizens, while also trying to ensure the safety of vulnerable medical and emergency first responders. The donations will help replace vital supplies and equipment that were stolen or destroyed by the Russian invaders. FAU volunteer Vitaliy Milentyev expressed the group’s commitment to continue providing equipment and training to Ukraine’s first responders. He said, “The war is not over. They need our help. They need it to survive and need it to win this war.” Our accolades, Firefighters Aid Ukraine, for your solidarity in providing lifesaving equipment to the valiant people of this war-torn nation. We pray such supplies help save and protect Ukrainian lives, in Heaven’s mercy. Vegan: or r we mindless beasts?

Coming up, United States vegan barbecue meat brand announces expansion. Let’s pause for a moment to be grateful to our colleagues for their input and feedback that help nourish creative ideas. We’ll return with more uplifting news on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Enhancing News for a Beautiful World.

United States vegan barbecue meat brand announces expansion into major supermarket.

North Carolina-based company, Barvecue, was founded with the mission to end factory farming and protect the planet. The plant-based meat company will have their two products, Pulled BVQ and Carnitas, available in 191 Harris Teeter supermarket stores across seven states and the District of Columbia. The Pulled BVQ is a soybean and sweet-potato protein, wood-smoked with traditional BBQ seasoning. The Carnitas is a tender and deliciously seasoned plant-based meat for tacos, fajitas, burritos, enchiladas, and more! In 2021, Barvecue opened the 929 square meter Carolina Smokehouse, described as the world’s largest plant-based smokehouse, with the capacity to manufacture 800,000 pounds of vegan BBQ meat annually. Congratulations, Barvecue! We are excited that your delectable creations will now reach many more people! In Celestial vibrancy, may humanity shift to a vegan way of life in order to protect our fellow animal friends.

One of Bolivia’s most dangerous roads becomes wildlife haven following closure.

A notorious route to the Yungas along the Andes hills connecting La Paz was closed by the government, due to the hundreds of often fatal road accidents each year. An alternative safer road was opened by 2007. According to a recent study by the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), the abandoned route is now teeming with wildlife, including vulnerable and endangered species such as the white-throated Quail Dove-, the Peruvian Dwarf Brocket-, the Andean Guan-, the Mountain Paca-, the Oncilla Cat -, and the Black and Chestnut eagle people. WCS biologist Guido Ayala, shared, “It is so nice that we have a place close to the (capital) La Paz, some 50 minutes away, where one can come and see nature in a beautiful way.” Bravo, Bolivian government, for your life-saving intervention in closing this dangerous route, and Wildlife Conservation Society, for your uplifting research. May our animal friends continue to flourish in this biodiversity-rich country, in God’s watchful Gaze.

The following joke has just been developed in the giggle test tube, so let’s check it out. It’s called “It’s Not My Fault.”

A woman talks to her new diet coach about slimming down.

“I keep trying and trying to lose weight, but I just can’t. Can you help me?”

“What do you think is stopping you from shedding the extra kilograms?”

“I think it’s the magnets on my refrigerator. They keep pulling me to the fridge. That’s why I can’t lose weight.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Yu-Yan in China:

Most Beloved Master and Supreme Master TV team, I am writing this letter with deep gratitude. Thank You, Master, for Your immense Love and Blessings and for elevating me through Supreme Master TV, so that I am still able to keep a peaceful and joyful heart in the face of pain! For a period of time, I was immersed in deep grief: When I meditated and prayed every day, I always thought about the innocent animal-people in the slaughterhouse, as well as the boss and employees who were facing the consequence of hell. I cried bitterly, but my tears could not wake up the owner of the slaughterhouse to put down the butcher’s knife. One night, while meditating and praying, I was crying my heart out and prayed to Master to let me die for our animal friends in the slaughterhouse! At that time, Master’s voice came from the MP3 player near me: “We are heartbroken to see animal-people suffering. If our death can save them from suffering, we are happy to do it, but we choose to live on and look for other ways to save the animal-people…” Thank You, Master for Your loving reminder!

I dried my tears and submitted the application to help Master’s work. Compassionate Master approved me to do Supreme Master TV work at home! The loving saints of the Supreme Master TV team taught me bit by bit, and patiently revised the files which I uploaded to them. Now, when I sit in front of the computer to do the Supreme Master TV work, inspiration flows through me constantly and I feel the Blessing Power similar to that during the international retreats with Master!

Thank You, Master! I sincerely pray that Master’s Love will illuminate the hearts of all sentient beings through Supreme Master TV! I pray that all major media in different countries would sound the horn of truth like Supreme Master TV! I pray that national leaders will make Vegan Law soon, and that will lead people in the right direction. I pray that the power of the whole Universe would bless my Master with peace, good health, and bliss, and Your wishes come true! I pray to Master to bless me to always keep a humble and selfless heart of serving all sentient beings! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Sincerely, Your disciple, Yu-Yan from China

Kindhearted Yu-Yan, We are so glad that you have found a way to help the animal-people by working with us here at Supreme Master Television. We all must find a method to contribute to the positive transformation of our world. Thank you for joining us in this sacred work. May the Buddha infinitely shine upon you and robust China, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master has a wise message for you: “Compassionate Yu-Yan, it is truly better to live for the animal-people than to die for them. I am glad you were able to realize this and take action. The animal-individuals need us to advocate for them and awaken others to their plight. I understand your feelings as I suffer so intensely every day because of how they are being tortured. We are not here to shrink away from suffering but here to end it by being the Divine Light in a dark world. Thank you for doing your part to help bring about World Vegan, World Peace. May you and the sympathetic Chinese people be forever blessed by the Radiance of Heaven. Love you.”

“I transitioned to vegetarianism and then, […] after more research, watched all the films you can’t ‘unsee’ (you know the ones), I was horrified that I’d been part of this cruelty my entire life and decided vegan was the only way.” ~ Leigh Sanders (vegan)
