In today’s news, World Bank backs Türkiye’s green transition with substantial funding, United States study reveals accelerated aging linked to increased cancer risk for young adults, Japanese research group develops amazing paper-based energy-storage device, Ukraine (Ureign) and Hungary open new border crossing, police officer in Connecticut, USA, saves child and becomes part of her family, trend of eco-friendly resource use being realized in global food sector, and lost dog-person picks up caregiver’s scent amidst urban chaos.

Some caregivers may find it convenient to chain or tether a dog-person, but it frequently causes significant psychological and physical harm. This practice not only poses a threat to the dog-person’s well-being but also increases the likelihood of aggressive behavior. There is also a risk of strangling, choking, and throat tissue injury. It’s worth noting that tethering or chaining a dog-person is illegal in numerous states and countries around the world. Animal-people welfare organizations unanimously condemn this practice as inhumane, unnecessary, and cruel. Instead, dog-folk should be treated as cherished members of the family, provided with the love and care they deserve, and allowed to be indoors with their caregivers, or have an open enclosure outside to run around in.

Laughter, a cheerful refuge amid the daily hustle and bustle, will soon be delivered to us by the joke of the day. It’s entitled “Mime Career.”

A young man comes home after graduating from college and tells his parents some important news: “I’ve decided to become a mime.”

The parents are very much disappointed.

“A mime? You spent all those years in college, and that’s the best you can do?”

The son shrugs and silently holds out his hand. The dad reaches into his wallet and gives him some money.

“Are you giving him money to start his mime career?”

“No, I’m just paying him in advance for not talking to me for the next four years.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Freddie in the United Kingdom:

Dear Supreme Master Television team, I have a very exciting and amazing experience that I would like to share with you and fellow viewers. This experience happened on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at around 11 am GMT. I was taking my usual walk in a woodland near me where I have for the past couple of months put up bird feeders filled with mixed natural seeds so the birds in the area have food to eat over the winter months. I was there again on Tuesday to refill the feeders that day.

For the past week or so I’ve noticed that the food has been eaten quicker than usual. Previously, it took between three to four days for the feeder to be emptied, but recently only just one or two days. Also, the opening for where the birds eat from has been broken and made wider. I refilled the feeders and hung them back on the trees. I then walked back to my car. But as I reached my car, I felt like I needed to go back to see if I could see anything that would explain why the feed was going so quickly and the broken opening. Could it be squirrels or other wildlife?

I came up to about 10 meters away from one of the trees where I hung the feeder – there - in front of me, a magnificent bird – an eagle - eating the bird seeds! For a second, it seemed like our eyes locked and then the eagle spread its wings and flew up over my head and into the sky. It was breathtaking and my heart is pounding with excitement as I’m retelling this experience.

I’ve never seen or even come close to such a great bird in my 66 years of life. And I never thought that eagles would or could eat vegan! What an amazing start to a new year! I now plan to design and build a feeder to allow such a big bird to eat comfortably. Freddie from the United Kingdom

Elated Freddie, We can understand your jubilation! Thank you for sharing this magic moment with us all. How wonderful and rewarding it is to be able to feed such an array of people from the bird kingdom, from the smallest to the largest, with vegan food. We hope our viewers will be inspired to consider how they too can assist and bring comfort to Nature’s feathered friends, and other co-inhabitants, especially in their times of greatest need, in extremes of cold and heat. May All-merciful God watch over you and all residents of the brilliant United Kingdom in peace and eternal Love. In Global Unity, Supreme Master TV Team
