Even just one or two persons want to see me, it’s not that easy. Ah, whoever wants to see me must have affinity, (Yes.) have affinity with me, that’s number one. [And number two], they have to be sincere, extremely sincere to be able to see me. (Yes.) […] Whoever is sincere, they will meet the Master, you don’t have to worry for them. (Yes.) And if they are not sincere, then forget it, understand? […] Whoever is sincere, God knows. Sooner or later, he or she will meet the Master. (Yes.) If they are sincere, they would crawl here to find the Dharma (Teaching), understand? (Yes.) […]

Did you look at me? I am going down there. Look at me a little bit more, then that’s it, I am going. (Yes, I look at Master.) (Yes, Master, please come to Sydney. Please come to Sydney in Australia.) Oh, Sydney, oh my God. (So we can see Master.) I don’t remember all these cities. Too many. Los Angeles, Sydney, and then Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, Washington D.C., blah blah, so many. The world is full of cities. Never mind, we’ll be together. What are you worried about? What city? What do you want? Don’t care about that. Alright? (Yes.) I cannot go anywhere enough. Anything else? (Thank You, Master. Ottawa is missing and longing for You, Master. We would like to invite You [to come there].) I know, I know. I know, but I can’t go to every place. You come here to visit me, and that’s enough. Anyone can come to visit, then come. Now, even if I go every day to all the places that people invite me, then I still cannot cover all.

(Dear Master, the initiates in Germany, especially in the North, would love to invite You to come and give a lecture, because there are a lot of initiates and other Aulacese [Vietnamese] over there.) I went to give a lecture, not because of the Aulacese (Vietnamese). (Yes, I know. Master, there are some Germans who also want to know about Your teachings. We were also trying to distribute [the flyers and information].) I will think about it later. (Yes.) If they want to know, to learn about us, then you can give them the books to read. (Yes, I did, but they only want to see You.) If they want to see me, they have to find the way. It is not so easy like that they can see me if they want. (Yes, right.) Even just one or two persons want to see me, it’s not that easy. Ah, whoever wants to see me must have affinity, (Yes.) have affinity with me, that’s number one. [And number two], they have to be sincere, extremely sincere to be able to see me. (Yes.)

Yeah. They may not see me when they come here, [much less] they sit there and wait for me to go there, no way! (Yes, right.) Not that easy! Now it is very easy already. I went to a few places in Germany already, and if they did not come there, then that’s it, (Yes.) I don’t have time to go all the time. Each time I went to give lectures, I had to prepare to spend a lot of money, understand? (Yes, I do, Master.) Then many people have to support the lecture tour, hundreds of people to accompany me. Then they have to distribute the flyers, to print on newspaper, all kinds of work. Not that you can go if you want to, like going out to have fun. I can go by myself, it’s OK, then it doesn’t cost so much. But just to a few places. To go to every place in the country, there’s not enough [money]. No matter how much money I make, it’s never enough, number one. Number two, I have to give money for relief work in the world. (Yes.) Not that you just sit there and demand. It is alright, but not that...

Whoever is sincere, they will meet the Master, you don’t have to worry for them. (Yes.) And if they are not sincere, then forget it, understand? (Yes.) Why you could see me and those people cannot? There are a lot of people nearby, the neighbors, but don’t see me and don’t even want to talk about me, understand? (Yes.) It is not that I go there and they will learn with me, not necessarily so. (Yes.) Sometimes they just sit there and demand, demand, and demand. Seeing someone requests, they all want to request, and then they say Master is not compassionate, this or that. I have been here many years already, almost 10 years, and you go ask the neighbors if any of them came for initiation. No! They even cause trouble sometimes… See that? The ashram was closed [before] already, (Yes.) just because the neighbors are very “kind”! OK, that’s it. Understand? (Yes.) Whoever practices spiritually, earns the blessings for themselves. You should not worry. God knows. (Yes.) Whoever is sincere, God knows. Sooner or later, he or she will meet the Master. (Yes.) If they are sincere, they would crawl here to find the Dharma (Teaching), understand? (Yes.)

OK, OK, you guys need to go home. (Thank You, Master. Thank You very much.) OK. Enjoy your merit. That means you should be happy for yourself, happy for your blessings. OK? (Yes.) And for others, you can do whatever you can only. (Yes.) You already gave them the magazine, right? (Yes.) Books and other printed materials, you already gave to them, right? (Yes.) They already knew all the Centers in the world, right? (Yes.) And if they did not lift a finger, then forget them. What for do we want to be a “busybody.” (Yes.) Each time I went to give a lecture, it cost me so much money, so much effort, so much time spent, and how many of them stayed for initiation? Do you understand? Do you know? (Yes.) Now if we calculate, then each disciple, cost many tens of thousands of US dollars. Well, go home, don’t sit here or I will charge interest. Asking nonsense and I will charge interest.

The Aulacese (Vietnamese) boys. Slowly, don’t make a lot of dust. Go softly, gently, sweetly, slowly. Sit in a circle, sit in a circle, sit in a circle, don’t sit on one side. Boys! When I say boys, I mean also old boys. Bald boys can also come. Take it easy. Don’t make dust for me. I’m allergic to dust. Wow, more boys than girls. Good! Alright, sit down, sit on both sides. OK? Be careful with the light and the flowers, that’s all. Everywhere you can sit, just be careful with the light… Bring more (vegan) cookies and candies. There are too many of them. OK? All the boys are here or not? Two, three, four, five… No, already, six... Oh, you’re not. You’re not in. I don’t like this kind of teeth. OK. Anyone else? Only six! I remember I have about ten, no? Ten or what? Ten. Ten girls and 10 boys, right? How come only six come? Where have the other four gone to? Get married or something? So young? The Aulacese (Vietnamese) boys all came already? Come here, from different countries, it’s alright. Other countries are OK, the Aulacese (Vietnamese) who live in other countries can come, too, such as Americans, Germans, French and so on. Canadian all came here? (Yes.)

Yeah, is it cold? Cold or not? Huh? OK, huh? (Just a little, slightly cold.) Slightly cold, huh? It is not cold. Staying in Los Angeles, you get used to it already, right? (Yes.) So, how much it cost you to come here? (We got the capital back already, Master.) Even, huh? (We got the capital back. And now we have profit, Master.) You already have profit? Have profit already. (We have profit, Master.) Yeah, if you have profit, then give it to me. Did you eat OK during the last few days? (Yes, very delicious.) Can you sleep? (Yes.) No obstacle, right? (No.) The people who sit back there, can you see me? If you are short, you ought to sit up front. The ones who are short, can sit up front. If you sit in the back, others block your view, then don’t cry noisily. On this side, there are some places, and the ones who could not see me, come this way to sit. Come over this way to sit, no problem. I will turn back and forth, and whichever side is more handsome, then I will look at it a little longer.

So, do you have any request? Complaints? Do you want to ask anything? (No.) No? All are enlightened already, right? Very good already! Ah, you are now getting a little fat. It seems like you are more handsome than before. Now you are eating normally? (Yes.) Is our (vegan) restaurant in San Jose OK? Is it good? Do you go there to eat? (Yes.) Yes? (Yes.) Too expensive? Is it? (No, it is rather cheap.) Is it delicious? (Yes, it is very delicious, Master.) And the other place... The place where I stayed, is it OK or still there? (Yes, it is still there, Master.) It is still there? No problem at all? (No problem at all.) OK. Good. Are the cars still there, too? The trailers, are they still there? OK. Thanks God. But for what? There are so many bad predictions for America. I hope it won’t come true. I rely on you. All the American beautiful handsome boys. Meditate more for your country.

Really, no questions? Then can take some (vegan) candies, sweet love. OK. One over here. There are different things. Don’t worry. Don’t worry. One for you. And two for over there. Here, two, you share. And come, come over. Some people don’t have a seat. So, is there anything new over there? (It is the same, Master.) Is there anything new in the Aulacese (Vietnamese) society in America? Is it still the same? Still the same? They are now busy taking the (vegan) cookies and don’t respond to me. Now they’re busy getting (vegan) candy, they don’t even care what I’m asking. I’m proud of you. So young. So young, and already become Buddha. I don’t know what kind of Buddha, sort of Buddha. You feel like you’re a Buddha now or not yet? You feel? You feel your Buddhahood is sprouting or not? (Sometimes.) Huh? (Sometimes.) Sometimes. Oh, it’s better than never. Anybody feels that he already became Buddha, yesterday? No? Maybe he. He acts like a Buddha sometimes. You improve? Yes? (Yes.) In what way? Eating more, sleep better. Yes, you take more. Please. Don’t worry. Take more. Put it over there. Is it enough here? (Enough.) Enough? The boys eat more. Take two more baskets to them.

Other foreigners – tomorrow. OK? Or you want it today, you must sleep? There are only, I think, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong. Because if I take care of all of you now, maybe you cannot go to sleep. It’s nearly 10 o’clock. So tomorrow evening. Why is your voice suddenly sinking? It sounds so terrible. Your tents are OK? (Yes.) Where? Where do you pitch your tent? (Mountain.) In a mountain. Like this? (Yes, 45 degrees.) How did you sleep? (Rolling.) Rolling. Become rolling stone. Rolling Buddha. (Yes.) OK. I know. I know. Our place is not very (Flat.) flat, yes. Because our level is very high. So, as you think, so you become. As your position, you live where your position accords you. So because all of you are high level practitioners, so you have to climb high to sleep. Cannot be ordinary citizens. If you find somebody in the morning rolled down to the foot of the mountain, please pick him up. If his level sinks down, pick him up.

I drove to the back mountain sometime yesterday. And I saw some people’s tent like this. I really feel amazed how you put up with any kind of circumstances. It means that you have improved – at least in your ability to cope with the difficulty. And they’re all smiling. Sitting there like this, smiling, in samadhi. I’m sorry that it is not so comfortable for you like a first-class hotel but this is a five-million-star hotel. We can call it five-level hotel. Actually, we have many levels, not only five. Right? From the foot of the mountain to the mountain top, is about fifty levels at least. And each one accordingly lives there. So the higher you put your tent, the people know that you are higher in spiritual practice. So don’t complain. Don’t move down. Keep your standard up. OK? Keep it high.
