So, you can even make mistakes, but you have to mend it, to return to the righteous way. Then, it’s OK. Everybody makes mistakes. But not continue to make mistakes, and then abusing other people’s love, kindness and tolerance. That is not a very good example for the society outside. And you go out and you say you’re my disciple. And then you do this, you do that, which is not correct… then it’s not the way to do it.
There was somebody who also wanted to come here, but I didn't let him in. There was somebody who also wanted to come here, but he had not meditated and all that. I don't know what he’d done. He was not supposed to go to group meditation before, and he had made himself somehow squeeze into the Thailand retreat. But when he came back, he was not allowed to meditate anymore, and then he wanted to come here. And then he also told a lie that the contact person here allowed him to come, but it's not so. So, I don't want these kinds of things going on.
Even (though) I have the power to forgive everybody, of course, but I don't want to misuse it. Suppose I let him in, and then later, he will keep telling any other contact person lies, like, “OK, She let him, She let him,” and then, like this the contact person cannot work. I also have to respect the position and the difficulty of the contact person, as he has to carry out, she has to carry out their work. And they’re working for us, for all of us.
And our group, our Association, must have a good name. Even if we’ve not become saints or anything, the minimum I expect of you is to be a very good human being. Do you understand? For everybody else’s reputation. Suppose I just let anybody come, anybody does anything they want, then what’s the use of being initiated, or meditate or the Five Precepts? I might just as well write a book, and tell everybody to stay home and meditate – the whole world. There’s no use anymore!
It’s not fair for everybody else who is really good. It will smear everybody else’s name - all blackened! Understand?
I said that someone wanted to come, but he lied to his contact person, saying that the contact person here allowed him to come here, blah-blah. But he didn’t meditate in the group for a long time, and he didn’t write a letter to explain it, or to, “repent,” to regret and express his honesty of wanting to be good again. Therefore, I did not allow him here. Because if you want to be my disciple or friend, you have to be good. Otherwise, our good reputation will be destroyed. You understand?
Our group must be good. I expect from you that at least you are good people, only good people. And whether you are holy or not holy, it depends. At least be a good person – clean, honest, good, with noble ideal, and selfless. I expect that from you. Holy or not holy is another thing. Is that too much to expect? (No.) No.
So from today, if someone complains that he cannot see Master, that the contact person is not kind or something, do not listen to him. Say, “That is all your fault.” You write a letter, show your honesty, and repent. I forgot again in German... (Repent.) Repent, yeah. Then you can come back again. If you go this way, then you are together with us. If you always go the opposite direction, then you are not with us – no need to come back.
Love is to look in the same direction. If you love Master, if you declare that you love Master, if you always say you love Master, then we have to go the same direction as Master. That is what I mean. If not, then no, then you don't have love. If you don’t have love for Master, then you cannot have love for us. That is not possible. Is it? Because Master is us. Master is with us together, we are together – a group. If you say you love us, then you do what we do, don’t you? That is not difficult, is it?
But German is difficult. OK, good, then no questions? Any question that is beautiful, intelligent and important? Otherwise, go to the square outside. Consider for ten minutes what you want to ask. Here it’s very simple. If someone is talking nonsense, we send him outside. Run or stand for ten minutes, freeze a little bit, and then the memory will be refreshed, waken up a little bit. Good or not? (Good.) If you do not have questions, then we can go eat. I’m sorry. I’m not German. I don’t understand anything. What?
(Dear Master, please allow me to say something. I don’t have any question. I would like to celebrate Christmas with You and everyone here.) Where to celebrate? (Here.) My God! How to celebrate in such a small house? (Today is Jesus Christ’s birthday...) How many more days? How many more days do you make me stay here? What do I do every day? Just sit here and wait? (We rarely get to see You.) But everyone goes home to work today and tomorrow. You make me stay here waiting all by myself, waiting until you come next week to see me? (There’re many people staying behind.) Really? Let me think.
(We are leaving very soon.) You are leaving very soon, see that? See, they already want to leave. (They will be back. Only some have to go home, Master.) They have to go to work, see? (They will come back.) Some people are jobless. Just some old women and those who don’t go to work stay here. (We’ll come back after work.) OK, whatever.
Let me think, let me think. Let me think. No, no, no. I am not sure if it’s helpful for me to stay here. How many people are staying until Christmas? Not so many. OK, OK. One moment, one moment. Let me see, whoever leaves, then he leaves anyway, whoever stays, then he stays anyway. I have to think it over. I have my ticket already booked. I have something to do at home. (Oh.)
Normally, I would stay only until today. Two days are already a lot, no? Then you will come back? (We will be back.) Is that so? (We can never see You enough.) Never enough, what should I do? (We thought that You’d stay until the Christmas holiday.) But if I continue to stay, then many of you will stay, and then the whole house has to always work. It’s too much for the owner or the working group. They must cook. (No problem!) You must cook… (If You stay here, we work more keenly.) and shop. (We like to do that.)
OK, I will think it over later. Later, later. I said, “I’d think.” In German, it means “think it over,” too. I’ll think it over. It’s better than saying no.
There are things like this that people have said: If a diplomat says “yes,” he means “maybe.” If he says “maybe,” he means “no.” If he says “no,” then he is not a diplomat. Not good. The difference between a diplomat and a woman is: If a woman says “no,” she means “maybe” - to a man, her lover or boyfriend. And if she says “maybe,” she means “yes.” No, not yet! But if she says “yes,” then she is not a woman, not a real woman. That means the women are always like, “Yeah… OK. I don’t know... Maybe... I’ll think about it.”
But I am neither a woman, nor a diplomat. I don't know what I should do. Maybe I’ll tell you later. I’ll think it over, really. I love you very much. I feel very good around you. You are very diligent, just like the German mentality. Always serious with everything. Meditate seriously, too. Sleep also very seriously. See you later. Let’s go to eat. Is there any other question? Anything else to ask?
Up until now, have the Aulacese (Vietnamese) understood anything? (Yes, we have.) Understood. But… Understood only a little bit? (I understood half of it.) Only half? (Yes.) OK. (I understood only half.) The other half I understood inside. OK. Then it’s good already. That’s enough. Fifty-fifty, fifty-fifty. If there’s anything you didn’t understand, then ask the young initiates later. They learn German quicker. Or you can ask some of your friends who understood.
I’m proud of you. You have really passed the test, because it’s very difficult to practice outside. And here – meditation, vegan, and all kinds of stuff, and working to help mankind, flyers and Supreme Master Television, whatever – you did it all, despite that you haven’t seen me for a long time. And that means you really are sincere for yourself and for the world, and that spirit is very, very noble.
Can you translate now, my love? If you can. Whoever can, then do it. (Yes.) Or whoever can.
It doesn't have to be her. Either is OK. (But now I have forgotten meanwhile.)
(m-translator: So, may I?) Yeah, please. (Although we have not seen Master for a long time, we still have meditated seriously, and done Master’s work, like, the Supreme Master Television, promoting vegetarian [vegan] food and so on. Therefore, Master is very proud of us, and said we have passed the test. That’s what I remembered.)
And… Because you did it for the elevation of yourselves and the world, not because I am here or not here, so this kind of spirit is very noble! Therefore, I am proud of you. If I am always here, always giving you (vegan) cakes, throwing the (vegan) candies to you – and then you behave well, that’s like a kid. But you’ve grown up already, and have taken responsibility for yourselves and for the world, in order to elevate the world and help the world. I am very proud of you for this. I thank you, also. When you do something just to help others, and also to enlighten yourselves, that is very noble. It’s not because of the reward. And that is very noble! Understand now? (Yes.) I am very proud of you for this. You are all very good, good children. Good children, good children. Big children, small children, elder children, young children, all are good kids. Very good.
