In today’s news, European Union aids Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh and Myanmar, report warns overlapping crises could worsen acute hunger in 20 countries, amateur London artist creates amazing pictures on bananas, researchers in United States reveal the effect of smoking on heart failure, Malaysian resident saves wild plants amidst nation’s rampant deforestation, US-based Farm Sanctuary launches education program about social justice and the food system, and park’s campaign against littering in Santiago, Chile, has real-life dog-person superhero.

European Union releases €22 million more in aid for Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh and Myanmar.

This additional funding will provide lifesaving support including food, shelter, healthcare and protection for Rohingya refugees and host communities in Bangladesh, as well as displaced Rohingya and conflict-affected people in Myanmar. Bangladesh hosts nearly 1.2 million Rohingya refugees, while the number of people requiring humanitarian aid in Myanmar has increased to 14.4 million in 2021. The EU’s assistance for them now reaches over €41 million in Bangladesh and over €27 million in Myanmar this year. The European Union is a recipient of four Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace, and a Shining World Leadership Award for Earth Protection; as well as a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Humanitarianism and Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care and True Caring. Many thanks, European Union, for your continued responsibility to humanity. May the gentle Rohingya people soon live peaceful and happy lives, in loving Celestial embrace.

Report cautions simultaneous crises will exacerbate acute hunger.

In a recent analysis, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and World Food Programme (WFP) warned that acute food shortage is likely to be heightened in 20 regions by the third quarter of 2022. In particular, six of these hunger hotspots, namely, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Somalia, South Sudan and Yemen, are at the “highest alert” level with up to 750,000 people experiencing the catastrophic conditions of starvation and death. The grave outlook is driven by multiple simultaneous emergencies, including violence and conflict, political instability, the COVID-19 pandemic, exceptional weather conditions such as drought, flooding and tropical storms, plus mounting food and energy prices due to the war in Ukraine. Our appreciation for publishing this deeply concerning report, FAO and WFP. In Heavenly omniscience, we pray all countries swiftly transition to a universal vegan food system, the one true remedy to cure all of humankind’s crises. No 2 vegan: love 2 watch the world go down?

Up next, amateur London artist skillfully creates pictures on bananas. Let’s pause for a moment to be thankful for the unconditional love of the Divine, which sustains all living beings. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more refreshing news.

Hi, kind viewers, it’s Susie, a vegan duchess from the Snowshoe Hare kingdom! Do you know how I keep my fur so beautiful all year round? Of course you do – the nutritious vegan diet! Here is a way to facilitate the bond between your cat- and dog-person when they first meet. To get them acquainted, start off by trading their toys or bedding to allow them to get used to each other’s scent. When they first start interacting, make the sessions short, about ten to fifteen minutes. Allow them to spend more time together once they demonstrate acceptance. You can also strengthen your furry friends’ bonds by having them play together, but make sure you are present to look after them. In addition, commend both of them whenever they have a positive interaction, as this will help them link your approval to their behavior. Wishing your dog- and cat-person to get along in no time! Thank you for watching and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants alike. Now, the weather from around the world.

London artist charms with amazing images on bananas.

Thirty-six-year-old Anna Chojnicka of the United Kingdom has acquired thousands of fans with her stunning works of art depicting flowers, animal-people, and well-known figures such as the Mona Lisa and famous singers. The amateur artist works with an unusual medium: she bruises bananas in a controlled process that produces shading on the fruit. Every day she creates a unique new piece of art, then photographs and shares it on social media before finally eating her creation! Ms. Chojnicka came up with the idea during the COVID-19 pandemic and has since passed her 800th banana mark, still continuing to delight fans worldwide. She has also taught banana art classes to seniors during the pandemic and uses her talents to raise funds for various causes, including support for Ukraine. So beautiful, Anna Chojnicka! Thank you for sharing your unique artwork with us all, in God’s creative Grace.

United States researchers show smoking doubles the risk of heart failure.

Scientists from Johns Hopkins University recently performed a long-running study on the effect of smoking on heart failure, and determined that it doubles the chances of two subtypes of the disease, one involving failure of the left ventricle and the other related to coronary artery disease. It was also found that the degree of danger remained raised for up to 30 years after quitting, with the longer and more a person smokes, the higher the risk, and also the greater the time to heal. The data was extracted from health records of 9,500 people in the nation. Thank you, researchers from Johns Hopkins University, for reminding us of the lasting dangers of smoking. In the wisdom of the Providence, may tobacco soon be banned, as we safeguard ourselves and one another through healthy vegan living.

Malaysian conservationist saves endangered plant species.

Alarmed by the uncontrolled deforestation of rainforests that is destroying the rich biodiversity in his country, photographer Suzairi Zakaria made it his personal mission to save endangered plant species in his home state of Terengganu. Data from US-based Global Forest Watch shows that Malaysia has lost approximately 29% of its rainforest since 2001, due to industries including palm oil cultivation and logging. Using personal funds from selling his rainforest photography, since 2015, Mr. Zakaria has helped preserve over 2,000 plants, which he keeps in a conservatory in his backyard. Included are 200 types of wild orchids prized for their beautiful colors. He has also discovered new species and his efforts have assisted researchers to identify and document rare plants from the region. Our heartfelt gratitude, Suzairi Zakaria, for your commendable work to rescue nature’s fantastic flora. In the Divine’s abundant Care, may the precious forests be protected for current and future generations. Vegan: first step closer 2 enlightenment.

Coming up, United States animal-people sanctuary launches education program about social justice and the food system. We will take a moment to thank the family nurse practitioners, who specialize in caring for all the members of a household, from infants to the elderly. More valuable news coming up on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Thoughtful News for a Hopeful World.

United States-based animal-people sanctuary holds educational program about the food system and social justice issues.

For the second year running, the large non-profit Farm Sanctuary, a Shining World Compassion Award recipient, is offering a free virtual 13-week course starting in September that will explore veganism and the treatment of farmed animal-people, along with patterns of oppression and injustice that exist in the United States food system. Participants will be introduced to the daily life at the farm sanctuary and learn about its delightful residents. They will also explore pathways that bring about a fairer and more compassionate global food system. Farm Sanctuary directors, long-time activists and vegans Dana McPhall and Miko Brown, are leading the course to support individuals to create transformative change within their communities. Amazing work, Farm Sanctuary! May the program spark profound changes towards a vegan society, in Heaven’s guiding light.

Canine-hero inspires official anti-litter campaign.

Gonzalo Chiang and his Border Collie friend Sam enjoy frequent walks in the expansive Parquemet, which is the Metropolitan Park of Santiago, Chile. On their outings, they began to remove rubbish, with five-and-a-half-year-old Sam wearing a vest with pouches so he could help carry out the litter. The pair’s good work has not gone unnoticed and prompted park officials to request Sam’s image to be included in its anti-litter campaign. He is represented in a cartoon aptly named Sam “the Parquemet Superhero.” Wearing a green superhero cape, Sam reminds visitors to use one of the park’s 40 recycling bins or take their waste home with them. His cartoon character has proved popular on social media and in raising awareness in the many schools that are also helping to make the Metropolitan Park clean and green. Bravo, Sam and Gonzalo, as well as Parquemet officials. May we all become excellent stewards of our cherished Earth, in God’s forever Blessings.

Let’s hope this joke of the day will cheer you right up. It’s entitled “Good at Work.”

At a job interview, the applicant was asked:

“So, you were a librarian before. What is one of your strengths at work?”

“I excel at following the rules.”

“Give me an example.”

“Well, one of the rules at the library was to not make any noise to disturb people. So one day, when someone accidentally took the ladder away from under me and left me hanging on the bookshelf, I made sure to wait until the library closed before I hollered for help.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Naomi in Japan:

Respected and Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai and the Supreme Master TV team, I watch Supreme Master TV every day with my heart full of gratitude. I like your diverse programs and well-crafted images. In one series of Master’s photos that you shared, Master was feeding butterfly-people with different kinds of fruit, which let me know that butterfly-people also eat fruits. I thought I could also feed the same to small animal-people.

Surprisingly, a butterfly-person really flew into my house, hiding somewhere that I didn’t know. While meditating the next night, I was thinking: “Butterfly-person, you’ve been here for two days. Come out to me if you’re hungry.” The following morning, the butterfly-person did appear and flew to land on my shoulder. Joyfully, I cut an orange and put it on a little table to feed the butterfly-person, who flew over immediately to enjoy it. After that, while putting him outside, I said thankfully, “You are welcome to visit my house again.”

Thank You, Master, for sharing with us the photos that You’ve taken, which have reminded us to be grateful and loving to all beings. Thank you, the Supreme Master TV team, for every program you’ve produced and broadcasted to increase our knowledge and help us expand our love.

May Respected and Beloved Master Ching Hai be in good health and have everything go smoothly. May Supreme Master TV become increasingly better. May all animal-people be protected, cared for, and loved. May “World Vegan, World Peace” be realized soon! Naomi from Japan

Tender Naomi, Our appreciation for your feedback regarding the Supreme Master TV programs. Master’s beautiful pictures inspire us as well. She always seems to capture the essence of nature in such a way that anyone who sees Her photos feels much closer to the natural world. They are like a window showing us the light in all things. Your experience with the butterfly-person is a lovely example of how we should treat all of our fellow beings on this planet. We pray that you and blossoming Japan always enjoy serenity and plenitude, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master has this loving reply for you: “Innocent Naomi, I was touched by your wonderful story that illustrates so well the kind of enlightened, loving relationships that are possible between humans and the animal- and insect-people. I have been amazed so many times by their pure love. They are so kind and lovely and have often warned me of danger and saved my life. If humans had any idea of how much love and assistance they are denying themselves by being so cruel to animal- and insect-people, and the natural world, they would be regretful, ashamed, and immediately become vegan. I hope your story touches many hearts and inspires individuals to be more kind and loving to all beings. May World Vegan, World Peace manifest now so all of life on Earth can become as it was intended to be, one loving family! May you and the helpful Japanese people always see the shining Buddha Nature in all things.”

We cannot live w/o this beautiful planet. Please save it by turning vegan, now.

We welcome your heartlines, stories and or cute, loving animal-people clips. Please send them via SupremeMasterTV.com/heartline
