In today’s news, United Arab Emirates sends food aid to Ethiopia, increased risk of type 2 diabetes found among COVID-19 patients, New York firefighters to use robotic dogs to reduce danger, Saudi Arabia to plant 3.1 million trees in Royal Reserve by 2027, American celebrity raises US$100 million to help Ukrainian refugees, vegan confectionery company offers first oat milk créme egg in Britain, and circus tiger-people rescued from Argentina are transported to South African sanctuary.

Ethiopia receives humanitarian aid from United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The UAE has sent 30 metric tons of food assistance to Mekele, in the Tigray region of Ethiopia, to support more than 7,000 people, including 5,600 women and children. This area is currently experiencing much upheaval and internal conflict. As part of its commitment to assist people in need, the caring Middle Eastern country delivered 337 metric tons of relief supplies to the region last year, which included 200 metric tons of vegetable oil and 18.5 metric tons of medical items. In addition, from January to March 2022, the UAE sent 500 tons of urgent food and medical assistance to the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa. The United Arab Emirates is a recipient of the Shining World Leadership Award for Good Governance, and a laureate of Shining World Leadership Awards for Peace, Environment Protection, Protection, and Compassion. Our gratitude, United Arab Emirates, for your generous donation of vital supplies to the resilient people of Ethiopia. May peace soon come to the Tigray region with daily life returning to normal for all communities, in Allah’s gentle Guidance.

German researchers find COVID-19 patients may be at more risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

Scientists from the German Diabetes Center, German Center for Diabetes Research and clinical research company IQVIA, analyzed data from 8.8 million patients in Germany from March 2020 to January 2021. During the study period, 35,865 patients became infected with COVID-19. Researchers found that the COVID-contracting patients had a 28% higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes compared to the control group. This finding suggests the SARS-CoV-2 virus may target and affect the pancreas and other areas in the body, resulting in increased insulin resistance in people with no previous history of diabetes – a trend which has also been observed in studies from the United Kingdom and United States. Thank you, all researchers involved for this important finding. May your results help humans to realize the importance of turning towards the ever-benevolent plant-based lifestyle to end zoonotic outbreaks, in God’s Love. Turn vegan? Smart family!

Up next, New York firefighters to use robotic dogs to reduce danger. We will pause for a moment to thank the textile factory workers who so carefully assemble our clothes so we will have good, fitting attire that lasts long and creates more aesthetic beauty in the world. Please stay with us for more distinguished news on Supreme Master Television.

Hi there, I’m Luke, a vegan soprano from the Red-billed Leiothrix kingdom! Did you know that my songs are famous in the mountains of China where I live? You may not see me in the low, dense brush, but everyone can hear my chirping melodies about the benefits of including more fruits and vegetables in their diet. Here is a gardening tip! It is wise to nick large, hard seeds prior to germinating them, particularly ones with a waterproof seed coat. Seeds with a hard exterior such as okra, beans, and nasturtium frequently need to be scarified for optimal germination. Scarification involves making a little hole in the seed coat so water can be absorbed. Simply use a corner of a pair of nail clippers to create a small, shallow opening on the seed at the point opposite of the hilum, or pod attachment, so you can decrease the chances of causing damage. Now the large, hard, or impermeable seeds will have a much easier time germinating! Lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. And thank you for watching. Now, the weather around the world.

New York firefighters to use robotic dogs to make work safer.

The Fire Department of New York (FDNY) in the United States has purchased two robotic dogs made by Boston Dynamics, a Massachusetts-based robotics company. The 84-centimeter tall dogs will be used for search and reconnaissance missions with the fire service, in hopes they will help save lives. Known as “Spot,” each four-legged robot can carry and supply power to up to 14 kilograms of inspection equipment, has a thermal imaging camera, can scale stairs and rough terrain, and is able to navigate hazardous sites too dangerous for its human counterparts. Internet videos of the versatile robots have millions of views, with the developers showcasing Spot’s incredible agility. Congratulations, Fire Department of New York, on the purchase, and Boston Dynamics on the development of these lifesaving robots. We pray such advanced creations are used to protect many lives and benefit communities for years to come, in the goodwill of Heaven.

Saudi Arabian eco-initiative aims to plant 3.1 million trees by 2027.

The afforestation program of the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve will be carried out independently at first, and later in collaboration with the National Centre for Vegetation Development and Combating Desertification. The special area will be promoted as an eco-tourist attraction in the region. There are plans to resettle wildlife-people in the reserve through endeavors with the National Center for Wildlife. Rangers will be recruited from the local community to protect the area’s animal-persons as well as to inform and guide visitors. The reserve also seeks to develop hospitality options and engage the private sector through investments. Saudi Arabia is a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, a Shining World Leadership Award for Peace and a Shining World Leadership for Loving Care Award. Our appreciation, King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve and the Saudi government, for your conservation efforts through the creation and care of this natural space. In the Grace of Allah, may the wonders of nature inspire all to be good stewards of the environment.

American actress turned philanthropist raises US$100 million and counting to aid Ukrainians.

To help people from Ukraine affected by the Russian invasion, actress Bethenny Frankel started collecting funds through her humanitarian initiative BStrong. On the second day of the war, she and her team arrived at the Ukrainian-Polish border to help relocate Ukrainian citizens to safety by providing transportation, lodging and other services. Partnering with the US-based non-profit Global Empowerment Mission, BStrong has established warehouses and systems capable of distributing massive amounts of aid to displaced Ukrainians who have entered countries bordering Ukraine for refuge. Since its launch in 2017, Ms. Frankel’s BStrong team has provided immediate assistance to people around the world, including Australia, Puerto Rico, Haiti and the Bahamas during major disasters. Our accolades and salute, Bethenny Frankel, for your outstanding work and loving spirit. In the protection of the Providence, may the noble people of Ukraine soon welcome a safe and hopeful future. Yeah, continue with ur war: so people can see through u that there’s not one iota of goodness in ur heart, all is evil n corruption inside u.

Coming up, vegan confectionery company offers first oat milk créme egg in Britain. Let’s take a moment to appreciate God’s Love which is coloring our life unconditionally every day. We’ll return with more splendid news on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Healthy News for a Thriving World.

Vegan chocolatier launches United Kingdom’s first oat milk chocolate créme egg.

Chocolate confectionery Mummy Meegz from Yorkshire has debuted its new chocolate delight oat milk Chuckie Eggs. The 100% plant-based chocolate-coated treats have the shape of an egg with a soft fondant “yolk” at the center. Wrapped in recyclable foil, the ingredients are 100% ethical and sustainable and also do not contain palm oil. Although it was designed and released in time for Easter this year, chocolate lovers can find it year-round at the Asda supermarket chain. “We’ve created the world’s first true alternative to dairy milk chocolate créme eggs,” said founder Meagan Boyle. Way to go, Mummy Meegz, on your delectable vegan treats. In Divine joy, may our world soon be colored with brighter tomorrows as we transition into a safe, kind, vegan era.

Bengal tiger-people begin new life after being rescued from servitude to circus.

Four Bengal tiger-persons who had been imprisoned in a train carriage while being used as circus entertainers in Argentina for most of their lives, underwent an over 70-hour journey to bring them to Lionsrock Big Cat Sanctuary in Bethlehem, South Africa, where they are now enjoying their freedom. The rescue project performed by international animal advocacy group Four Paws International, a Shining World Compassion Award laureate, was years in planning. Shining World Compassion Award recipient Dr. Amir Khalil, who led the mission, was thrilled to have the tiger-people arrive at the sanctuary. Free at last to roam in their new enclosures, the tiger-people will later be moved to a larger area that extends over several acres. There are more than 100 lion-, leopard-, and tiger-people as well as a cheetah-person living at the sanctuary. Supreme Master Ching Hai has previously made humble contributions totaling of US$45,000 to support Four Paws International’s projects. Bravo, Four Paws and Dr. Amir Khalil, for your benevolent work. May the newly rescued tigers experience peace, warm friendships and joy, in Celestial beneficence.

Now, it’s time to step onto the hilarity escalator and let the joke of the day bring our mood up. It’s called “Being the Backbone.”

Joan and Chris were having a nice lunch together and catching up with each other:

“You know, I’m really tired of being the only one who takes care of everything: cleaning the house, washing the dishes, paying the bills... I’m the backbone of all this. Well, I live alone, but still...”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Penelope in Seattle, United States:

Dear Supreme Master TV team, This oil painting “Peace of Hope” is for Ukraine. We pray for Ukraine to stay strong, be safe and have peace. Thank God for Hiers Blessings for Ukraine. Penelope from Seattle, United States

Inspired Penelope, Wow, what a beautiful painting! It is all your loving wishes for Ukraine in art form. Recently, on April 3, in celebration of the 5th International Artist Day, we were reminded by Supreme Master Ching Hai of the importance of beauty to uplift hearts and minds, and your artwork will surely enrich the feelings of all who chance to see it. We join you in praying for the brave Ukrainian people. May All-merciful God keep you, the spirited people of America and Ukraine, safe and well. In Universal Grace, Supreme Master TV team

“We’ve got to reduce the amount of animal products we consume and we can do it now.” ~ The Honorable Andrew Bartlett (vegan)
