In today’s news, Qatar Charity improves road access to camps for displaced in Syria, researchers in Norway highlight uncertainties in climate models used during COP26, Reebok plans on making fully biodegradable shoes, Australian steelmaker to shift to greener steelmaking process, United States police officer and firefighter rescue stranded motorist from sinking vehicle, vegan athlete secures fourth consecutive Belgian national weightlifting title, and octopus-, crab- and lobster-people to receive greater welfare protection in United Kingdom.

Qatar Charity betters road access to camps for displaced Syrians.

Qatar Charity, a Shining World Compassion Award laureate, has implemented its infrastructure maintenance project in 29 camps for internally displaced persons, or IDPs, located in Idlib and Aleppo, in northern Syria. It has so far completed road restoration work in 8 of the camps and previously finished building rainwater and sewage drains at all sites. The maintenance is part of its winter campaign “Warmth and Peace,” to improve the conditions that Syrian IDPs face each winter. In the rainy season, the roads turn into mud, preventing aid trucks from reaching the camps, causing great hardship. This year, with the work done by Qatar Charity, vehicles will have access and be able to bring in drinking water, food, healthcare, and other assistance. Our gratefulness, Qatar Charity for your humanitarian kindness. In Allah’s Blessings, may all the displaced in Syria soon be able to safely return home.

Norwegian researchers spotlight uncertainties of United Nations climate predictions.

Scientists from the Center for International Climate Research (CICERO) in Oslo recently performed a study using seven different climate modeling groups and determined that the Earth’s temperature rise by 2100 could range from 2.2 to 2.9 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, with 2.9 degrees being catastrophic. They found that most climate models begin with the desired outcome and then determine the policies needed to achieve this goal, which can lead to inaccurate results. The lead author of the study, Dr. Ida Sognnaes cautioned, “The false precision to climate outcomes given during COP26 may lead countries to believe they are making good progress, when the opposite may be true.” Thank you, researchers from CICERO, for pointing out the uncertainty of our future. In the love of Heaven, may we quickly take all necessary measures, including a switch to plant-based agriculture, to ensure our survival. Vegan: cuz animal-people actually r people just like us. Think about it.

Up next, Reebok plans on making fully biodegradable shoes. We will just take a moment to thank the designers of festive lights who create beautiful, energy-efficient indoor and outdoor lighting for us to decorate around our houses, streets, and neighborhoods during special occasions. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more distinguished news.

Good day, lively viewers, it’s Stefan, a vegan nobleman from the Sand Cat kingdom! Cats say meeeow! Humans say, “Hallo!” Our language and appearance may be different, but on the inside, we’re the same. Love all beings and go vegan! I’ve got an animal-person companion tip for you today. Train your kitty-person friend on how to use a litter box by leaving a small, uncovered box in a quiet place near where they sleep. Add the litter into the box. When you see him or her sniffing at the box, pick them up and set them inside. Make sure you pet and praise them. After your cat-person buddy uses the box, be sure to reward them with a little vegan treat. Keep the box clean and in good condition. Don’t scold them or give them medications when they are close to the litter box as this can create negative associations with it. Love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all of Earth’s co-inhabitants. Thank you for watching, and here’s the weather around the world!

Reebok developing fully biodegradable shoes.

United States-based sports outfitting company Reebok is working on a 100% biodegradable plant-based shoe with a goal to have all of its products sustainable by 2030. Through its Innovation Lab in Boston, United States, Reebok has been gradually replacing animal-person-based leather products and petrochemical-based plastics with Earth-friendly plant-based alternatives. Currently, a 50% plant-based Reebok shoe uses materials like eucalyptus knit, natural rubber, castor bean oil and bloom algae. Much of the challenge so far to reach 100% has been because the substances the brand wants to use do not yet exist, so it has been collaborating with partners to create them. Exceptional news, Reebok, on your noble path to make your shoes and other products planet-friendly. In God’s Grace, may all companies follow your responsible footsteps to ensure every aspect of our lives and economy are in harmony with nature.

Australia’s largest steel producer plans to decarbonize operations.

Australia’s BlueScope Steel recently announced a joint partnership with its largest supplier of iron ore, Rio Tinto, to decarbonize its steelmaking process. Globally, steel manufacturing accounts for 8% of carbon emissions. The shift will involve using hydrogen instead of coal to smelter the ore, and will see the company invest US$107 million over the next five years. BlueScope has a net zero goal for its worldwide operations by 2050, with mid-term goals of reducing emissions by 12% for steelmaking by 2030. Our applause, BlueScope Steel and Rio Tinto for taking steps to decarbonize the steel industry and thus ensure cleaner air for all. In the guidance of the Providence, may our global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions ensure the longevity of the planet for all co-inhabitants.

Police officer and firefighter save driver in sinking vehicle.

Kennett Square Police Department Officer Mark Todd and Longwood Fire Company Sergeant Brandon Fuller were praised as heroes for saving a driver whose vehicle fell into a creek in Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. Seeing the driver trapped inside while the car was quickly submerging, both rescuers jumped into the freezing cold water. Together, both men were able to pull the woman out of the vehicle and to shore, where she was treated by paramedics before being transferred to a nearby hospital. The woman’s family is extremely grateful for the joint life-saving efforts, which took less than 5 minutes, while the pair humbly stated that they were just doing their job. We pray the driver quickly recovers. An enthusiastic salute, Officer Mark Todd, Sergeant Brandon Fuller, and all involved, in the heroic rescue. May all police officers and firefighters be blessed for their noble mission of protecting others, in Celestial benediction. Vegan: cuz we r not demons!

Coming up, vegan athlete secures fourth consecutive Belgian national weightlifting title. We’ll pause for a moment to thank God for having kept us safe so we could work continuously throughout the year and for the Love that keeps us going strong. More high-thinking news coming up on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Motivating News for a Glorious World.

Vegan athlete wins Belgian national weightlifting title for the fourth consecutive year.

Sahyuri Lalime, a vegan powerlifter, has won the 2021 Belgian Championships competing in the classic division for the 63kg (kilogram) category. Sahyuri lifted an impressive total of 412.5 kilograms: a 180kg deadlift, 152.5kg squat and 80kg bench press en route to winning the best overall female lifter title for the competition. A vegetarian for almost 20 years and vegan since 2015, Sahyuri said, “I’m extremely proud to be a vegan powerlifter. Every day I am saving lives – and, hopefully, inspiring others to save lives, too - by proving that you don’t need any animal products to be strong ...” A hearty congratulations, Sahyuri Lalime, on once again proving robust, healthy bodies are built on plant-based diets. In Divine upliftment, may your stellar example inspire many to adopt the win-win vegan lifestyle. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Joyfully present the Shining World Athlete Award to Sahyuri Lalime with love, praises and a big hug. We vegans are mightily proud of you and all other VEG Athletes as you all drive home the true message of benevolent strength, that compassion is the key to wholesome fitness. May God bless you more each of your powerful days to continue your awesome life in peace and success.”

Octopus-, crab- and lobster-people to receive greater welfare protection in UK.

The UK has extended the proposed Animal Welfare (Sentience) Bill, that would guide future government decision-making on animal welfare, to include decapod crustaceans and cephalopod molluscs such as crab-, lobster-, shrimp-, crayfish-, octopus-, squid- and cuttlefish-people. The decision was made following a government-requested scientific report led by Dr. Jonathan Birch, Principal Investigator on the Foundations of Animal Sentience project, which found strong evidence that such sea animal-people have the capacity to feel pain and distress after reviewing over 300 scientific studies that measured sentience in a variety of ways. Though not incorporated into the legislation, the report also made specific recommendations to ban certain inherently cruel practices such as the declawing of crab-people and the boiling of people from the crustacean kingdom alive. The United Kingdom is a laureate of the Shining World Leadership for Caring Award, Shining World Wise Leadership Award, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, Animal Protection and Kindness. A big thanks, UK government, Dr. Jonathan Birch and researchers, for advancing the welfare of our intelligent sea animal-person friends. May the law soon recognize all animal-people as sentient individuals and protect every being, in Heaven’s abiding care.

How about a moment of delightful laughter? Let’s check out this joke, entitled “Dog-person Question.”

A man adopted a dog-person for the first time from a shelter. As they were wrapping up, a shelter staff member asked the man:

“Did you have any questions about caring for the young dog lad?”

“Yes, I was wondering, at what age is it appropriate for me to tell him that he’s adopted?”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Dr. Anita Krajnc in Toronto, Canada:

I just want to say we’re incredibly grateful to Supreme Master TV and Supreme Master Ching Hai for working on this issue [veganism as the solution for climate change] for years. I asked Peter Carter if he was interviewed for your program. He said, yes, he was a few years back. [With] the reach you have, you’ve interviewed Dr. James Hansen, who’s the most famous climate scientist in the world. You’ve been working on this issue for years, in a way that is more in-depth than any other venue that I know. So just thank You for Your contribution and for Your support for all the activists and groups that are working on climate solutions that involve moving to a plant-based world. Dr. Anita Krajnc from Toronto, Canada

Inspiring Dr. Krajnc, With appreciation for your kind words, we would like, in turn, to express our deep gratitude to your caring self and the many other benevolent souls who, alongside our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai, have also been working for many years to save the people of the animal kingdom. May God’s eternal Love comfort and fortify you and the humanitarian Canadian people as we move towards a vegan world. In Universal Peace, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master replies to you with optimism and hope: “Loving Dr. Krajnc, our hearts unite in wanting to bring peace, joy, and a long, healthy life to the animal-people on our planet. I extend a loving embrace and pray that you may always be protected and blessed. I wish you well in all your wonderful life-saving endeavors. May you and expansive Canada know success, in Heaven’s Mercy.”

“[…] When we started eating the animals, and stuff like that, we started losing, what we call, our higher nature.” ~ The Respected Spirit Wolf (vegetarian)
