Let’s continue with part two of our show. In Agadir, a city on the southern Atlantic coast of Morocco, kindhearted Michèle Augsburger Clairet Doucet founded Sunshine Animal Refuge Agadir (SARA), which provides loving care to over 1,000 animals. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Gratefully present the Shining World Compassion Award to Ms. Michèle Augsburger Clairet Doucet, plus a US$15,000 humble contribution to her compassionate shelters, with all love and gratitude. May Heaven shower you and your team with love, strength, and happiness all your lives.”

The next Shining World Compassion Award Laureate is an international animal welfare charity from the UK. Worldwide Veterinary Service, formed in 2003 by Dr. Luke Gamble, sends over 1,000 vital aid parcels a year valued at over £268,000 to places where they are much needed. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Warmly present the Shining World Compassion Award to Worldwide Veterinary Service, with all love and heartfelt gratitude for all you do for cherished animals in need. May your loving organization and its staff be blessed many fold, in God’s immense grace.”

Founded by Brandon Arkinson, an MBA student at Ryerson University, Toronto, Moving Hope is a Canadian non-profit which provides resources for individuals experiencing homelessness. Volunteers of the organization leave hats and gloves in bags placed around the city each winter to help the less fortunate survive the cold weather. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Thankfully present the Shining World Compassion Award to Moving Hope, plus US$15,000 in loving support of your benevolent efforts to help ensure the well-being of fellow citizens, with much love and heartfelt gratitude. May you, your team, and those you care for be always abundantly blessed and protected by Heaven.”
