New flour mill in northern Syria to enhance food security in the country.

The nonprofit organization Qatar Charity, a Shining World Compassion Award laureate, has installed a new flour mill in the town of Marea in northern Syria, to support local farmers in their production and storage of wheat. The project, called “Support Wheat Value Chain in Northwest Syria,” is funded by the Turkey hub of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), and is expected to benefit more than 75,000 people. With an initial production capacity of 45 metric tonnes of flour each day, the mill will distribute the flour to local bakeries, benefiting the residents of Marea and beyond. Our heartfelt gratitude, Qatar Charity and OCHA. May the lovely Syrian beneficiaries be well and nourished in Allah’s overflowing grace.

Deforestation in the Amazon reaches 12-year high.

The latest figures from Brazil’s National Institute for Space Research (INPE) indicate that more than 11,000 square kilometers of Amazon rainforest were destroyed between August 2019 and July 2020. Alarmingly, the destruction of this vital carbon sink is up 9.5% from the previous year-long period, thus reaching the highest level since 2008. Animal livestock raising, illegal logging and mining are the leading causes for deforestation in the Amazon, which houses some three million plant and animal species, and one million Indigenous people. Climate scientists have warned that the Amazon rainforest is key to slowing down global warming. Our appreciation, Brazil’s National Institute for Space Research, for documenting this important information. We also thank all who are adopting the vegan lifestyle that is essential to saving our precious rainforests and planet, in Heaven’s mercy.

Up next, researchers develop method to regrow cartilage and other bodily tissues in a non-invasive way. We will take a moment to thank and pray for our leaders who are fearless in doing what is best for their co-citizens. Please stay tuned for more foresighted news on Supreme Master Television.

Hi, generous viewers! I’m Callie the vegan Cassowary. I can share with you a personal secret to look younger than your age. Just be vegan! It’s a good idea to clean your washing machine each month, as pieces of fibers, food and other materials can get stuck in the crevices. Also, mold and mildew, detergents and hard water can cause blockages or affect your clothes. To clean your front-loading washing machine, dip a washcloth in vinegar and wipe the door, then use a toothbrush to reach into all the layers of the rubber gasket. Next, use 1 or 2 cups of vinegar to fill the liquid detergent dispenser and set your machine on full-load and the hottest cycle or sanitize option, and let it run while empty. To eliminate odors, pour 1/3 cup of baking soda into the drum and run the cycle on hot again. Also, leave the washing machine door open after each time you use it to completely dry the interior. Thank you for tuning in and love you a lot for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now for the weather around the globe.

Researchers develop method to regrow cartilage and other bodily tissues.

Dr. Robert Mauck and a team of scientists from the University of Pennsylvania in the United States have developed a method to regrow tissues and materials such as cartilage in a non-invasive way. Their technique uses hydrogels that contain magnetic particles and medicinal objects, which are inserted into the injured part of the body. A magnetic field is then used to arrange the particles within the solution into the correct position for healing. Next, ultraviolet light is shone on the region, which sets the solution in place so that the natural repair process of the tissue can occur. Such a remarkable and life-improving discovery, Dr. Robert Mauck and co-researchers, to assist natural healing through magnetic fields. May the fine-tuning of your technique soon be complete in Divine inspiration, as the next generation of medicine brings comfort and relief to those in need.

Germany, a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion and a Shining World Caring Leadership Award laureate, supports technology to capture and convert CO2.

The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research has invested an additional €75 million for the Carbon2Chem project of German-headquartered ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions and partners, to commercialize the conversion of CO2 into useful chemicals. The process utilizes readily available catalysts and gas cleaning technology to create chemicals such as ammonia and methanol. Carbon2Chem will be applicable to industries such as steel, cement and lime production that produce large amounts of greenhouse gases, and it will help move Europe towards carbon neutrality. Way to go, Federal German Ministry of Education and Research, ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions and team, for working to reduce CO2 emissions. May your project soon reach production stage, as each nation does its part for a safer future, in God’s shield of love.

British diplomat rescues drowning woman in China.

A 24-year-old student in Chongqing, China, had fallen into a river and quickly lost consciousness as she was unable to swim. Immediately taking off his shoes, British Consul-General Stephen Ellison, who is a 61-year-young triathlete, jumped into the water and brought her to the edge of the river with the help of a flotation device that others had thrown. Fortunately, the woman soon resumed breathing. After the incident, some of the villagers brought Mr. Ellison back to their home and gave him dry clothes, food and drink, plus a 6-meter long painting of Zhongshan Ancient Town as a gift of appreciation. He also accepted an invitation to visit the grateful young woman and her family. Heaven’s blessings, Consul-General, for your heroic deed. May you and the rescued student both have long lives, as your selfless action creates ripples of unity and friendship far and wide. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Respectfully present the Shining World Hero Award to Consul-General Stephen Ellison, with high admiration, gratitude and best wishes. May Heaven shield and bless you, the United Kingdom and China abundantly.”

Up next on Noteworthy News, a new plant-based meat factory opens in Australia. We pause a moment to thank everyone who takes the social distancing precautions seriously for the public’s wellbeing during the pandemic. We’ll return with more good tiding news on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News - Loving News for a Friendly World.

Australian plant-based protein company opens vegan meat factory.

Leading plant-based protein food technology supplier ProForm Foods recently opened an US$8.1 million vegan meat factory in Northern Sydney that can produce 5,000 metric tons of products per year. Their unique production method creates textures similar to animal-based counterparts, and their product range includes 28 different items such as burgers, chicken-style tenders, mince, beef-style strips and more. The opening of the factory coincided with the launch of the company’s plant-based brand MEET, which will be available throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Congratulations, ProForm Foods, on this successful beginning, and thank you. May the Providence bless your company to play an important role in providing healthy and delicious plant-based alternatives to the world.

Fin whales learn songs in cultural exchanges.

A study published in the peer-reviewed journal Frontiers in Marine Science, has revealed that male fin whales learn songs from each other during their migratory travels. The research team used underwater recording equipment near Kauai, Hawaii, United States to record 115 whale encounters over six years. Five main songs were observed, some of which were unique to the region, but others were similar to songs heard in the waters off the northwest coast of the US. Previously it was assumed that a different song in a region meant a new individual or group had arrived, but the recent findings suggest the local whales learned the new songs themselves on their travels. Thank you, researchers, for this fascinating look into the rich and friendly lives of the whales. May such studies bring greater awareness of the need to protect these majestic angels of the oceans and all our Divine animal friends.

If you get too tense, try to take a deep breath and find something to laugh at. We got one here for you. It’s entitled “The Perfect Match.”

Kevin was a bachelor who was asked to test a new computer designed to find “the perfect match.”

“I want a companion who is small and cute, loves water sports, and enjoys group activities.”

“Your perfect match is... A penguin.”

And now we have a heartline from Li-Ying, Dong-Dong, and Yuan-Yuan in China:

Dear respected Master Ching Hai, Hallo! Though we’ve never met, my 13-year-old son, 10-year-old daughter and I have regarded You as our Master since a long time ago, because we are all earnestly looking forward to being initiated! The door opened when we knocked. We found You almost as soon as we started seeking! When I suddenly made liberation from life and death and the three realms my goal, it took me just 2-3 days to find You amidst the vast sea of people. We have been vegetarian for more than 3 years. After we knew the requirements for initiation, we started to keep a strict vegan diet. Beginning February 18 last year, we started to read Master’s teachings all night, and the only thought after reading is: I want to be initiated! Hope I can luckily become a tool to deliver Your message one day! With love, Li-Ying, Dong-Dong, and Yuan-Yuan from China

Determined Li-Ying, Dong-Dong and Yuan-Yuan, We only feel profound thankfulness when reading your heartline. You are all the living examples of “When the student is ready, the Master appears.” We are hopeful that your experiences will inspire others to also intensely yearn for spiritual liberation and find Supreme Master Ching Hai to lead them. May Buddha’s mercy be with you and optimistic China, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master also said: “Trusting Li-Ying, Dong-Dong and Yuan-Yuan, my heart is touched when people wish for initiation so genuinely and as ardently as you all. That kind of longing for Truth and liberation from this world is rare. May you persevere on the spiritual path and good China be bathed in Heaven’s light. Love Love.”
