In today’s news, Zambia sends critical medicines to Botswana. Scientists create detailed US carbon pollution map using publicly available data, Bhutan invests in irrigation to improve harvests, the Netherlands bans fireworks use by public nationwide, famous British Indian actor encourages people to practice kindness daily, global vegan dog-people food market experiencing significant growth, and Argentinian province returns hundreds of rehabbed animal-folk to wild in 2025.

Don’t just put your feet up for a rest, soak them too! Here’s a foot health tip for you today. Foot soaks can help soften, soothe, refresh, and clean your feet by using just a few simple household ingredients. In a large bowl, combine one liter of hot, but not boiling water, with half a liter of cold water so the temperature is balanced. Add in approximately 35 grams (2 tablespoons) of salt, 30 milliliters (2 tablespoons) of white vinegar, and 30 milliliters (2 tablespoons) of olive oil, which moisturizes and nourishes the skin. Stir well and then soak your feet in this mixture for approximately twenty minutes, which allows the skin on your feet to fully absorb the mixture. This will help treat dryness, cracks, thick calluses, odor, and fungal infection, as well as promote relaxation and stress relief especially after a long day.

Ready to turn that frown upside down? Let’s hear the joke of the day entitled, “Granite, Geiger, and Getting the Wrong Counter.”

Paula had just heard from her brother — a world-famous nuclear physicist — that some granite countertops give off tiny amounts of natural radiation. She shared this fun fact with her friend Mandy.

“Well… that’s unsettling. My brand-new kitchen counters are granite.”

Then you might want to use a Geiger counter to test them.

“Well, for the enormous price I paid for those slabs, they should be doing something impressive. I thought it would be ‘stain resistance,’ not ‘nuclear fission.’”

And now we have a heartline in Spanish, with multiple-language subtitles, from a COP30 team member in Colombia
