The EEA recently released its first European Climate Risk Assessment report, which recommends “a partial shift from animal-based to plant-based food, as foreseen under the Farm to Fork Strategy” to reduce freshwater consumption, improve health, and more. The report notes that climate change is likely to have “catastrophic” effects on crop production, human health, and the oceans.

It also states that limiting consumption of animal-people based products will improve the use of resources in the food system and increase food security.

Thank you, European Environment Agency, for highlighting the need to reduce consumption of animal-people to ensure food and water security. In Heaven’s blessings, may your suggestions be implemented at the continent-wide level, as we quickly make the switch to vegan agriculture.
